Any success with a 3-day Flippa auction?

I just posted my site on Flippa for a 3-day auction and I'm already wondering if it's too short a duration.

Anyone have success with a 72 hour listing?

if you have confidence on ur website, start a $1 Reserve auction, this will attractt buyers and a better Participation

Actually the 72 hours is really too short. It may need some more time to get a good result on the auction.

Yes, 3days is very short duration time. Usually, You can get more good results if you'll put your ad for atleast 10days.

It has been awhile and I do not even remember what prompted me to choose 3 day but I do remember researching which 3 days were best and I had amazing luck.

      Sold in 3 days.

Got my Buy It Now....(I did discount by $300 from $2800 to $2500)

And did not get Scammed. Triple Whammy!

3 days or 5 days or whatever, most of the offers, comments you'd receive will be in last 12 hours. Stay attentive in that period. Reply to all the comments. In fact comment there yourself as when ever there is a new comment the watchers are updated with that. So, this will bring them back interested.

    Wish u luck

I did sold 2 websites in 3 days auction , But i got the best deals in 7 days auctions , in my opinion 3 days are a bit less for an auction , although you will receive maximum bids in last 20-24 hours but still you will get more exposure in 7 days auctions. And 7 days auctions are not too long or short its ideal time for auctions , and i got best deals in 7 days always.

Buying or selling, by explaining more you might help some people in the future.

I've sold sites for both hundreds of dollars..and also 10's of thousands on flippa...
If you are just doing sweet easy start up sites...you can go for a lower time frame then just pump them out..

One thing I've done is use paid traffic if you have a proven site...give time for buyers to bid and battle against each other etc...

3 days isn't enough time to get a good amount of viewers for your auction.
