I would head straight over to clickbank and model the process that product owners are following when releasing products in the dating niche. You will want to host your products with clickbank because that's were the traffic and affiliates are for the dating niche..

To release your products on clickbank your are in titled to do a few things like create a sale page with a video sales letter (text base), this helps the sales fly threw the roof

create a JV page or affiliate page with tools for your affiliates to promote the product

A couple up-sells products to attract more affiliates to promote the product ... which you will have to create a sales funnel

Then announce the launch on the launch boards and start recruiting affiliates within the dating niche

To really is what goes into selling a dating product, I would buy one through clickbank take screen shots of the sales funnel, take notes on the sales ad copy, see how the product download page looks... See what information is in the product

Signup to there affiliate list, see what promotion tools they provide, see if they announce through email the top 10 affiliates that's been promoting the product for the week

You want to model whatever is working for someone within the niche and make it unique to your business

The people here who are selling in the MMO niches are offering advice that you should be able to easily apply to other niches such as dating. At the end of the day, it all comes down to getting your offer in front of your target customers.

Find ways to put your offer in front of people who are looking for it. Search engines, PPC, forums, solo ads, banner ads, etc, etc, etc.

Now, the strategy will change, but that why you try different things and test until you get the results you are after.

Just like every other niche, to effectively profit from your product you will need to create a sales funnel for yourself and build a list.

Videos and paid ads will work well for this but don't forget to drive them to a squeeze page or opt-in form to harvest their contacts. This will allow you to reach out to them again in future to maximize your monetary returns.
