Best Affiliate software for 1 shopping cart?

Hey guys,

We're currently about to launch a new wordpress site and are going with 1 shopping cart for our store. I know the more expensive version of 1 shopping cart has an affiliate program, but does anyone know a better alternative? (cheaper/better features, etc)

Please list your suggestions

thanks,

Julian

      hey mohamed,

Im new to wordpress (coming from drupal site without affiliate program) and am not technically savvy. Can you explain what you're talking about as if you were talking to a 4th grader?

      It would be much appreciated!

ps- so what you're saying is I don't need to upgrade to the 1 shopping cart affiliate program, or use amember in conjunction with 1shopping cart, or use something like idevaffiliate?

    Hey Julian,

If your after affiliate software try hasoffers.com. This is great affiliate software and its free so you can't go wrong giving it a try.

I checked out hasoffers, seems pretty cool. (I actually spent about an hour and half on the phone with their VERY helpful support)

Does anyone know what the downside of going with a free service like hasoffers is compared to something like idevaffiliate?

I'm getting in this thread late but I'm pretty interested in it.

I recently went through evaluating about 7 different affiliate add-ons for 1SC and each one lacked something I wanted.

I use free software for my Support Desk and it's pretty nice. osTicket:: Open Source Support Ticket System

The biggest concern I had using free apps is support but so far the forum they have has taken care of me.

Thanks for mentioning hasoffers.com Looks good.

I sure wish 1SC had a competitor with more of this 3rd party stuff built in

Don't know if you already made a decision or not, but I'm hoping you didn't decide to upgrade 1SC and go with their affiliate software.

Don't get me wrong, it works *great*. I used it for at least 2-3 years.

But I'm now a big believer in using pieces rather than one thing that does it all. I switched to JAM and used it with 1SC, and then when I changed shopping carts to Fantasos I didn't have to mess with my affiliates.

And if/when I switch to another shopping cart I *still* don't have to mess up everything my affiliates have done.

Same goes for the autoresponder. I had over 20K people on my lists in 1SC and when I moved to Aweber I lost more than 80%. Now that I have shopping cart separate from affiliate software separate from autoresponder, I can switch out any one piece without (much) affecting the others.

Just some stuff to think about. =
