Is there a tutorial on making a paid members area with emails?

I know how to make a wordpress site, how to post articles. What I get confused on is the part about capturing emails, putting the emails on auto (sometime a system like aweber) and having a paid area where people can upgrade.

Is there a tutorial that goes into this? Paid or free tutorial is fine, as long as its good and easy to understand.

You might want to search the Email marketing sub-forum here

You'll get ideas on YouTube--setting up a squeeze page and synching it with an autoresponder, setting up a membership site etc.

    Yes, there are many ways.
WishlistMember and OptimisePress plugin allows you to do that. Regarding tutorials,
Youtube and the websites of those plugins provide good support (provided you buy the plugin).

Above chaps have already given you great advice. The best membership software fluidly integrates with services like Get Response and aWeber. When in doubt, be sure to contact the vendor prior to purchase. Tell them what you want to do.

Wishlist member and Optimizepress 2 are a good combo, I use them myself. For capturing leads I'd suggest checking out Thrive Leads. It's cheaper than Optin Monster and has more features. I use Thrive Leads for all of my content type sites.
