Selling products to cold untargeted traffic can be difficult and only works in certain niches with tested and proven sales pages, so the more targeted and warmer the traffic is the better your results will be.

This question is sort of pointless. If no one was making money with Clickbank, Clickbank would not be here anymore. You can still make money by promoting spammy products, as long as they have a good sales page, someone is bound to buy them, so Clickbank will always have products to promote.

As for the Make Money Online niche, this is the worst niche to try to make a fortune in because it's so competitive, and since the big money is in product creation and list building, there are endless amounts of 'spammy' products being released every year.

Get into a different niche. If you find one without an authority, and can capitalize on it, you'll strike gold.

That is hardly even a test, more like a "hit and run" method which is perhaps the most common marketing mistake made by affiliates.

I personally know some of the top affiliates selling Clickbank products, and until recently I had been doing exceptionally well myself. My focus now is on other business interests, which were originally funded by sales through Clickbank and other affiliate networks.

you need to target niche and give away something valuable and build list then start to promoting clickbank products. its easy if you use PPC for fast traffic. solo ads. for building quick list. you can offer free ebook on niche related forum, blogs, facebook groups.

In the fitness world, Lyle McDonald, Nate Miyaki and Jason Ferruggia are all really good guys with awesome information.

In the IM world you have Andre Chaperon's products (including Autoresponder Madness) and I'm sure there are plenty more.

There are some great BJJ players with products on there.

Yes. Clickbank does have some high quality products that provide value to the customers. When you do the proper groundwork of identifying and nurturing your leads and building a relationship with them and then only offering them products that they need, a sale would happen.
As for the testing of the product, my observation is that even some of the rehashed or copied content gives value when done right. But it is also true that a $7 eBook is not sufficient for a newbie to learn everything that is required to succeed. If one spends effort to properly learn the techniques, one can surely succeed.
My honest advise would be to find a good coach and take his/her guidance. People have succeeded in every niche (and using clickbank) and there is no reason why you can't. All the best!
