Hostgator anytime. I have been with them since I started (recommended by a friend) and never had problems.

Arvixe is not too bad too but may be pricier.

In my opinion, you should never host your pages on your domain hosts (eg. Godaddy).

For domain hosting, I recommend Namecheap.

Yerp completely agreed. I really not recommended using GoDaddy for hosting, especially if you're newbie, they are so messed with a lot of advert

HostGator for sure! I use 4 different hosting companies and HostGator is the best by far. Their support has been fantastic on the few times I've needed it. There is a plan to suit everybody and they are superb value.

I have used quite a few and the one I like the best is hostmonster. As stated about hostgator hostmonster also has unlimited domains great c panel and user interface. And to me the price is nice I pay a year at a time so I get discounts and such. But I am considering trying hostgator soon but I really have no need or desire to switch hosts because I am happy with all aspects.

Ive been with hostgator for a while now and i really cant complain though when your on the live help it feels like they dont know much more than you.

however i used to be with fasthosts and they were a complete waste of space and when they went down just before a launch i decided enough was enough and got rid.

    kind regards

I personally have hostgator, but witchhost.net is a hosting comparison site which will give you the top 5 hosting companies. Hostgator is number 1.

If you are just starting out with hosting I would suggest Hostgator as well because of the easy user interface. Hostgator + filezilla to manage your files, really easy.

Feel like one of the sheep but have to also say Hostgator. I have tried a few others but based on my experience Hostgator have really good customer service and good uptime, at least from what I can tell with my own sites.

Bluehost is my favorite.. I actually prefer them to Hostgator (which I also have). It's pretty much the same deal, but I just feel more comfortable at Bluehost for some reason. Customer support is good here as well.

You should have just created a poll.
Hostgator for most usages works just fine for me.

I started out with a Bluehost account, which was great value for money. But as I grew I needed something a bit more substantial, so I switched to a Hostgator reseller account. No complaints here!

Looks like Hostgator is really popular.

I've been with BlueWho for few years and find them very reliable. Seldom need to contact support and most of the times they responded promptly.

I have my linux hosting at hawkhost.com and my windows hosting at kickassvps.com. I am very happy with both. KA even created a custom plan for me to my exact specifications (for Coldfusion and Sql Server/Mysql database work).
