Can HTLM code be used to create a WSO

Can I create a WSO page in Wordpress and then copy the resulting HTLM code and insert the HTLM code into a WSO post?

If so, will it look almost as good as the website version?

Also, how do I insert the code into the WSO post?

HTML does not work in the editor, you need to use BB code.

You can find the BB code tutorial here.

As already mentioned, the HTML code would have to be converted to BB code - but it goes a lot deeper than that.

The HTML code from Wordpress pages/posts invariably relies on CSS style sheets for a large part of the "look and feel". There is no BB code equivalent to CSS style sheets, so there would probably be a significant loss with regard to font choice, colors, highlighting, etc. You certainly would NOT be able to reproduce any transition effects with BB code.

    The short answer is no.

What I recommend you do is create a WSO test post inside the forum and play with the formatting and style until you're satisfied with it. This forum has a pretty decent WYSIWYG editor that compares quite favorably to Wordpress's, so I don't think you'll have any issues getting it to look good.

HTML will not work there. You have to use forum BB Codes. BB codes are also easy to use and fine as well.
