Clickbank Question

INTERNET MARKETING

How soon/often does Clickbank update their sales snapshot? Is it live? Or does it take a few hours?

If I make a sale, will I be notified? Or do I have to check the site periodically?

The reporting is pretty much real time, if there's a delay it's only seconds.

If you make a sale as a vendor you'll receive an email. If you make a sale as an affiliate you will not receive any notification but it will be reported in your account.

  Don't fall for the classic newbie trap of constantly refreshing your Clickbank stats in the hope of seeing some sales -- it's not good for your sanity or peace of mind!

^^ Agreed.

Don't wear out your F5 key.

Get out there and create more content, build quality links, establish authority in the niche on social media, etc. In the beginning you should be focused on getting as much out there as possible until something sticks.

Then kick into beast mode and milk it 'till its utters fall off.

  I understand. I am a newbie and I'm definitely nearly breaking my F5 key. You guys are right, I'm watching the sales snapshot to see if my current attempts have worked and I could be using this time to try out new things.

  First you wanna quit your job and make it big with affiliate marketing. Then you're having delusions of grandeur about a "genius idea" you've had about something in the mobile market. Now you're fiending for a sale and abusing your F5 key by refreshing your Clickbank stats...desperate for a sale that will never be.
  
  What part about "forget about pipe dreams, keep your job, and enjoy life" don't you understand? I know you got stars and dollar signs in your eyes, but the thing about "dream stealers" is that they're often right, and it's for your own good.
  
  You're obviously wasting time, energy, and resources on something that will never work out for you. The sooner you accept that, the healthier and happier you will be.
  
  The last thing you want to do is waste your money, your time, your job, and your relationships because you're chasing pipe dreams and unicorns.
