Creative ideas for hiding identity in Youtube videos??

Hey everyone


I'm going to start a Youtube channel and website but I'd like to keep my identity to myself.


I'm looking for a creative possibly funny way of hiding my face.


Almost like Wislon from the show Home Improvement hid behind the fence and you never got to see his face.


Something clever and funny like that.


Any suggestions or ideas???

      Thanks for the replys so far guys.


      I had thought of putting on a mask, or just showing the back of my head.


      I'd even thought about doing like the whole upside down chin mouth thing. But, I don't think they'll really fly that much. I'm trying to find something really clever and unique to do.


      Not putting down anyone's ideas. I'm just trying to think of something more original.


      Any other suggestions??

      jasondinner, I'd suggest going one more step.... and wearing the entire outfit..... :-) That would enable you to do full body shots....

    I'm not sure how unique or clever this is, but something I've noticed that ASMR-youtubers do a lot when they want to hide their identity is just show shots of their hands. You could brand yourself using it, like 'the girl with the red fingernails' or something

    I liked the fence idea. This is an original question from the OP--I haven't seen anything like it.

    Definitely make it part of your shtick...information so valuable we can't let you see who's giving it or there would be consequences...

    OP, what will you be talking about?

    On conspiracy and crime shows they have the interviewee in shadow, silhouetted, voice modulated (though the last is not necessary in your case).

    A Google search for "example of hiding identity in video" came up with a couple interesting hits. It's easy to put an obscuring object over your face if you're editing your own videos.

    But I still like the fence with the hat.

    Something based around your topic...you talk from a darkened room/closet...behind a piece of furniture...The Man Behind The Curtain a la the Wizard of Oz...let me know your topic and I'll think of something relevant.

      I'm planning on making a Sex, Dating and relationship website for men and women. So I want to keep some anonymity in my youtube videos and my website.

    Hire someone from Fiverr to create and animated still of yourself. Or, if you're name is similar to a famous cartoon character, maybe you can use a pic of Jerry the mouse, if you're name is Jerry for example. Unless your breaking some laws there idk.
