Is it necessary a review (presell) page for affiliate marketing?

Hi Warriors,

I have been doing some search in this forum looking for this answer.. yes indeed there is a thread about this but.. It is not clear for me so I appreciate your opinion

Can I do the presell or review during my messages with the autoresponder? also I would do some presell in the squeeze page.

But I am not sure if it is so necessary to build a post in my wordpress dedicate to presell the product, if so, my only reference is the course by George Brown... otherwise I would take text from the product owner.. since I dont want to buy every product I promote... So I wont give a review "based on my experience"

Thanks a lot!

There isn't really a simple answer to your question because there are so many factors involved.

Where is the traffic for your squeeze page coming from? What is being offered on your squeeze page? I don't think many would try and pre-sell on a squeeze page as you need to keep it really simple with the goal of obtaining opt-ins. But what you are giving away should be in line with the product you plan to sell, so that optins are targeted.

Creating a review site is great for creating organic (free) traffic and building some authority. Try approaching the product owners to request a free review copy. This may not be easy at first, until you have built some reputation, so you may have to purchase the product yourself to begin with so that you can review it. I wouldn't recommend you review without seeing the product because you need to build trust with your audience.

Despite what others may tell you, creating an internet business costs money. If you really want to do reviews and you can't get free copies, then buy the program and view the cost as a business expense and an investment.

It's not necessary, but it's highly recommended.

Once you've built your review site, it becomes your affiliate hub. you can also earn some money from the product you've reviewed months or years ago.

the best option is to put your review on a free traffic medium such as youtube. make some short review video and upload in your youtube channel. many people will search for the review before purchasing any product and there you can get free traffic and maybe sales! If your web already have a good traffic than it's good to put an article about the product review.

It's not necessary, you could even send visitors directly to a sales page and you would make sales.
But I have certainly seen how reviews/presells increase conversions. I have not tested video
reviews, but I'm guessing they will work wonders too.

If you have promoted a product and made a few sales, you can contact the owner and ask for a free
copy to review. You don't need to buy every product with your own money.

A pre-sell does not have to be a "review." People are getting wise to phony "reviews."

I just pre-sell the product, not my experience with it.

otherwise I would take text from the product owner..
Is how I usually do it. I generally take the main benefits from the sales page.

If you choose your niches and related products wisely, you may find much of the heavy lifting is already done for you. There are relatively very few reasons why it is even necessary to buy products for review.

Information about top-selling and quality products is often available online, niche-relevant publications, press releases, and manufacturers' websites.

Establishing oneself as an expert offering recommendations for product application, benefits, cost, etc based on research from authoritative comparisons is far more effective than typical "review sites".

Honestly, over 95% of programs i promote I buy.
I think if you are really serious about Marketing you better know your product forward and backward. And really think highly of it.

As far as a review page? For one product i do.
But not for every affiliate program i promote.

    Thats just me.

Needless to say a review page can be very beneficial

I suppose if you're only selling a single product, then squeeze pages and all that goes with it is necessary but in my many years of doing affiliate marketing, that's never been my approach.

My niche sites simply provide authoritative and quality content in which I recommend my related affiliate products or services, with only a couple of sentences of "presell." I also insert banner ads for the products near the section of the content in which the product is discussed. The key to this approach, of course, is having a niche for which there are several good affiliate products. There are many niches that simply aren't worthwhile from an affiliate marketing viewpoint because there are no good affiliate advertisers.

    Oxygenearth,

Certainly the answer depends upon you and how you choose to market your offers. One size never fits all in this business.

The better question to ask is: What is going to be the very best way for me to convince my traffic to click my link and buy from the vendor?

Whatever the solution turns out to be . . . you do that thing. And you do it over and over again.

You do whatever it takes to be successful in this business. If it takes one more step in your system to be successful, you do it. Don't try to scrimp and shortcut your way to success - that rarely works out well.

Put your offers out there and test them. Keep track of results and tweak your offers so they convert better. Keep the winners and trash the losers. Start small and only ramp up when your offers are profitable.

    It's really IM 101.

Just do email marketing. You can use this platform as your "presell page". Then you can drop your cloaked affiliate link without any problems. Just give them good advice, and give them the tools they need to succeed with whatever issue you're targeting.
