Legality regarding commisions - India

Hello friends,

I joined this forum like a few minutes ago. I am a newbie and have a very basic question :

Lets say I just started off by launching my own website from India. Lets say I refer a product owned by a US company to a consumer from UK and earn a commision. Obviously the commision will be in Indian Rupees, is that right?

If thats the case, isnt that a case of money laundering as per Indian laws? Is this legal?

I realise that I am challenging the basic premise of internet marketing, but just wanted to make sure this will work in India.

Thanks for your patience.

you would probably be better served seeking legal council in India.

The vast majority of times affiliates will be paid in USD. It's then up to you to get it converted into your local currency.
