Real Estate Marketing

Hi!

I do real estate marketing online the hard way. I go to free classified ads websites of different countries, and post a few ads of the advertised real estates.

I live in the Philippines, and I'm trying to sell beach/beachfront lots.

Do you know where can I find someone who's interested in buying such properties?

The beach lots are great, and can be much cheaper than those in other countries of the 1st world.

The beachfront lots can be developed into vacation villas or resorts.
I live in a tropical island, and it's one of the safest provinces in the country. I'm looking for lucky people who have always wished and needed to live in a serene tranquil intact relaxing environment.
The Philippines is one of the largest English-speaking countries in the world.

The U.S.A, Canada, The E.U, and countries a like, how can I find the people who are willing to buy properties and live here?

Content marketing and vacation/travel blog outreach are your best bets.

Are you trying to sell property here?

There are many sites online featuring property in the Philippines ...do a google search and take a look at how it's done. Most of the sites are by registered real estate agents, and feature legal information for those wishing to buy in that country.

I go to free classified ads websites of different countries, and post a few ads of the advertised real estates.
Showing a pretty beach picture isn't enough to sell property - you need facts, information and to create trust. Where is your blog or site - what is your experience or qualifications (don't need to see them on this forum - just saying that's what you may need to sell property anywhere).

If someone should call about your ad - what are you qualified to do? Are you a real estate agent (if that's required in your country)? Do you know the RE laws and other information a new buy would need? Are you able to provide building codes and restrictions to protective buyers?

Me and my husband are living here in the Philippines. We're back and forth between here and the USA mostly.

So I'm guessing you already post on OLX and a few others?

Have you considered buying an ad spot from one of the ex-pat blogs owned by Americans living here, such as Bob Martin's "Live in the Philippines"? He has a real estate section where you can list your property for a month for 1000 PHP. His wife is also an RE agent and they work on helping clients get set up in Davao, but the listing site is for anywhere in the Philippines.

And another good ex-pat blog to approach would be Philfaqs. He has an advertising section on his site as well.

There are others, but those two guys seem to have the largest following of people who are considering moving over here.

Joan - I'm curious about this. IN the Philippines can you just start advertising properties and sell them without some form of licensing? Could be - I don't know.

I may have interpreted the above state wrong. Sounded like he was taking properties advertised by real estate companies - and advertising those listing himself....?

I don't know all of the details, but you do need a license. They are strict here about selling property.

Hi there, I'm Filipino. I lived in the Philippines for 13 years and did a lot of online marketing while I was in high school.

The key to getting targeted traffic is content creation. I would highly recommend you start blogging and shooting videos. Do some keyword research and target the perfect audience.

Once you got that, do some FB ads to promote your content to that same exact audience. You can't get any more targeted than that. You can outsource some of the work if you like.

It's way more effective and long-term compared to doing craigslist ads. Your content is basically your online real estate. You own it and that's powerful especially once you know how to use it to your advantage. It will NEVER go away unless you shut down your account or blog.
