i used to use a great firefox plug - Google Global - but for some reason it doesn't work for me anymore, even after i updated to the newest version.

is there a simple way to see google's search results as if i am searching from the US?

i also tried some ip proxies - didn't work.

Do your search as normal and then paste "&gl=us" (without the quotes) onto the end of the Google URL for the results page.

Well changing to google.com/co.uk/ca mite not work.
If you r in Europe You are connected to a server in Europe which your ISP provides.
Now there are ways you can come over this.
The concept is you need to bypass the server which your ISP connects for you to get internet and connect to a US server to get US results.
    This is Blackhat.
If you are looking for something in specific. get one of your friend to run the search.

You can also try anonr - free web proxy surfing ... a proxy page ...

If it still doesn't work (either the google-link I've posted before or this proxy), maybe there is a cookie in your browser which blocks the US-Results.

I also recommend to disable the targeted ad-cookies with this site
    http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp

And also (of course) to log out of your google-account before you are doing any search ...

Uninstall the plugin. Download the latest plugin from their website (RedFly Marketing). This should work. At least, it worked for me.

Btw Is searching or advertising for betting or similar things is prohibited from the US (or in general)? i'm trying to search for "betting" (without quotes) - and it shows me nothing in the sponsored links.

    Hi...amitcor!
You must download "Google Global Extension V2" by writing "google search plugin for Firefox" in mozilla firefox search tab.
I have used it personally. It really works because it shows search results of U.S.A. by default.
    Hope,it helps you........

You can try changing your regional and language settings on your computer. See if that works, if not, try that in conjunction with a us proxy.

    We have a winner.

You don't need to use a proxy server to do this.

(And yes, it's the same over here as in Canada).
