Help me in marketing my ecomm website

We have business of selling plants and garden related stuff online. I need to know the best way to promote it.
1. I have tried Facebook ads and print ads.
2. The ROI on Fb was better than ROI on print ads. Plus Facebook is offering me more clicks and impression.
3. PPC is also cheap for my niche.
4. Im unable to have any PRs.
5. Have not tried any email marketing yet!

What should i go for? We are startup and have limited budget.
We are ready to spend $200 per month!

hi, personally I think u can try some B2B portals related to your business. The effect is more obvious and quick for you to target the correct customers.

I think USD 200 is not sufficient for marketing your websites because most of the seo companies will charge more. You need to follow seo services initially then you can go for another services like social media, ppc and parallel email marketing when you getting business from your website.

If you have $200, the best thing would be to hire a SEO company and make a long term contract with them, paying $200 every month and they do the complete SEO work for your site. SEO is by far the most important thing when it comes to drive high targeted traffic to your site!

Combine FB Ads and Email Marketing. They should be worked in conjunction to leverage your profitability as a smal business.

Use FB Fan Page as a feeder of sorts to your regular Website where you have an Optin to start building your List

Have you really conducted keyword analysis? You should really think of optimizing your site first. Google search engine could be a great secret weapon. Work on getting your site on google first page before looking at other options.

You are focusing in what car to hop into and not the destination you want to reach. Who's the "hungry market" and how much do they want to buy your solution?

Based on that you shouldn't have a hard time making a decision.

But because of ROI I'd test making a couple separate offers to that marketing and see how well it converts.

  • I agree with ZanyZebra -- don't hire an SEO agency. If you can do some basic on-Page SEO, you'd do alright.

If you have $200, spend it carefully on Facebook or Google Adwords. Let that simmer. Make sure you use landing pages and have a way to check your analytics.

Since you don't have much of a budget, you have all of "you". Spend time and effort to get your blog going, social media, and emails.

Make sure your ecommerce descriptions are original and fresh.

With that amount of money Google Adwords would be the best solution for ecomm site, because you could target people that are looking for your specific products and based on conversion tracking you could know exactly your ROI trough that channel.

Do you have any questions about the Google Adwords?
