Could this bring you tons of traffic and sales?

I want to drive new traffic to my business

Just looking to get some insight on Content marketing (Not SEO ranking articles)
I believe its PPC and the traffic is cheap and highly targeted depending on what you are marketing

I haven't found a course on this as yet, but I'm sure I am not the only person thinking about doing some stuff with content marketing

I'm not sure if I have to create a blog like landing page which will send the traffic to an offer

Anybody had some type of success with this?

    Yes, quality content marketing can be a good way to drive traffic. Put special emphasis on distribution of your content. You can't just post your articles and expect to get a lot of traffic from it.

    Try using the search function and look for "content marketing." You will find many good threads with relevant information.

    It depends a lot on your offer. Your niche. If you are concentrating on one product or a spectrum.

    That will help determine your content.

    Blog posts
    videos
    guides (buying guide, tool guide, gift guide, etc)
    Articles
    Reports
    ebooks

    If blog posts fit in with your plan, then there are ways to get the word out about your blog. Check out Triberr for example.

    I may be reading your question wrong, but it looks like you're saying that content marketing is the same as PPC? That's not correct.


    However, content marketing and PPC can both be effective and profitable.


    There are plenty of guides out there on both. Check the WSO section.

      Nope, you read it correct

      Their are companies like revcontent that provides PPC content marketing, It's hard to find quality information on how profitable it is or can be.

    It's like this: digital marketing is like a V12, supercharged. You'd need to keep the engine running, and that means you'd have to do organic, inorganic, and continuously work on conversion optimization. That's the way the engine runs.

    While you always get a chance to tweak and work more on channels that work best for you, it's critical that you start this way.
