Working With Low Engagement Niche

Does anyone have suggestions for getting engagement rates higher in a niche that may not seem popular. (Law) I have been noticing that lawyers don't necessarily use social media too much due to possible conflicting problems with client details and etc. I've been researching a lot on engagements rates and how to find your influencers, engaging audience, posting times, posting amount, etc. to help raise stats but it seems that I'm starting to run into a dead end. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

    Great question . . . and I'm sorry that I don't have a great answer.

    What I can say is this: pick your battles. Do your market research before you make decisions about niches to enter. Some are money niches and potentially profitable. Others may not be profitable for various reasons. If you're in IM to make money (instead of just dabbling or playing with a hobby) you need to be aware that every market, every specific niche, and every audience is different.

    If a particular niche is notorious for low engagement, then maybe you should move on rather than spend a lot of time and resources trying to change things.

    It could also be that a niche, with the right product or service, could be profitable without having a lot of customer or prospect engagement.

    I think the best you can do is to do some quick testing through paid advertising and verify that you can make money or not without spending too much time and effort on the tests.

    As far as I know, kicking a dead horse has never brought one back to life.

      Thank you for the response. The problem is I was hired to a company that is involved in that particular niche. So the low engagement I have been receiving is much higher than it was previously. Personally, I want to make it much better. But again thanks for the response!

    Your statement above is what caught my attention. Maybe it's not the niche which caused you to run into a brick wall. But the caliber or direction of your questions and topics. First is it anyway you can reduce or eliminate questions or topics that involve conflicting client details?

    Note: Although you may get answers to your questions in this section. You'd get better and perhaps more answers if you posted your question in the Social Media Section.

    There's more experienced people in that section who deal with your problem on a regular basis. Other than that there's always Brainstorming.

    Lawyers love hanging out in forums - they're all over property or business sites that I've used for advice in the past.

    Maybe your content isn't engaging enough for them? They are a smart bunch after all.
