Hey all. I was wondering if any one here has ever dove into the world of domain flipping. Not touching the actual site at all, just the buying and selling of the actual domain name. If so can you please tell me does this have full time potienial and could you recommend me a guide if possible as well. Thanks.

Not just any domain will sell profitably. Many people just buy a bunch of stupid domains and think they're going to make a killing, but they don't.

In the past domain flipping was great, you had so many good domains available to buy/sell every single day. Now its still a lucrative business but with to many competition out there its not so easy.

It's sort of like buying real estate in the sense that when you buy a property it already has a certain value. It's up to you to raise that value of the domain name so when you sell it in a year or so, you make back double, triple, even quadruple times what you've invested. It normally takes a while to increase the value of a domain name, especially if there is not actually code or site that comes with the domain name.

Sometimes people get lucky though, and they buy a keyword rich domain name then turn around and sell it on Sedo for $500+, but this rarely ever happens, and i wouldn't waste my time trying to find domains that haven't already been taken.

If you're looking to create an ebook to sell around the idea, i would first start by researching what goes into domain name brokering, and trading in general, because the process can really confuse newbies sellers/buyers.

Domain flipping, just like any other other businesses requires you to put in consistent effort in researching, buying and selling. All these requires some capital, lots of patience as you consistently run into rejections if you reach out to potential buyers, thick skin face, research and luck. If you are all up to it, then there is some money to be made there...

Stick to the basics and if you are looking for 'faster' returns look at LLLL .coms.

You need to go through the history of sales for a while, read up and look at what is hot and what is not.

You need a big bunch of cash to do it that way...it is way better to build a website, make it grow fast during 6 months (pay traffic, seo, smo..) then flip it...
But you will need to invest also for it...nothing is free in this world, unfortunately :/

Best way to succeed is to stick with premium names, which as was mentioned, will require a big investment. Otherwise, there is allot of competition at the bottom.

You can hire a VA to find unregistered domains in hot niches

Flip these on flippa or domain flipping sites

Better yet, flip these with companies with sites in those niches
