I hate clickbank. Please recommend me ANYTHING else

Hey all. Clickbank refused to accept my product.

I'm looking for alternatives. Any place where I can

a) find affiliates
b) use their system to sell the product
c) get the money
d) and do all that in a secure and reliable way

Thank you very much in advance.

Have you tried paydotcom.com its like clickbank but you have to pay your affiliates every 2 weeks and you can put your first product free and the just pay once for as many products as you want

Have you tried calling clickbank to get more details about why you were denied and how you can get undenied?

Otherwise.. what others have said... paydotcom.com - it's an alternative.

Did your product adhere to Clickbank rules? Make double sure.

Otherwise I can only recommend what other guys have said.

Paydotcom.com. It's awesome and I think you'll prefer it to Clickbank.

Thanks for the recommendations. Clickbank declined my product for no exact reason at all, but they've excepted 3 other products in the exact same niche that are (I know) completely scam products and not even close as good as mine. So I really don't see what's the point. Whatever...

I remember I found a website earlier I just can't remember the url, it's something like clickbank but it connects you with paypal, they have carts etc. the registration is like 5$ or something like that and the design of the page is orange, like firefox. Does anyone know which one I'm trying to remember?

Are you talking about click 2 sell? I looked into them as well but ultimately chose e-junkie as they also do affiliate programs. I now use clickbank but had to have an alternative until I got my other site up.

I didn't have a good experience with paydotcom, poor customer support.

If it seems that you have expended quite a bit of effort in doing your product, and you are not scared of work?
if so go it alone for awhile.
do great article marketing and other traffic stuff.
use that something ritual product (brian johnson?) to get ranked properly with google and then later start your own affiliate system.
in the long run you will be better off.

As a publisher of several ClickBank products, I have had submissions declined in the past. They have always given me the exact reasons as to why.(missing contact info, missing info on ty page, etc.) Once those issues were addressed, products were accepted.

It would help if we knew what your product is.

There are a lot of alternatives to clickbank but none can offer you as much upside with minimal investment.

I hate ClickBank (as a vendor), too! I only have 1 product listed there (it has a continuity attached to it).

I made the mistake of setting up a new account to list that one product so I could flip it one day and even tho' it has made some sales and is receiving monthly continuity payments, all the payments are made using PayPal!

What I didn't know is that the "5 sales with 5 different credit cards, not including PayPal, before you get paid" rule, which is in place to prevent affiliates from using their own hoplink to get products at a discount, also applies to vendors! How STUPID!

I've been around and around with ClickBank trying to get the money they owe me but they keep saying that my account doesn't meet the "CDR". I keep telling them I'm the vendor/product owner not an affiliate so that affiliate rule shouldn't apply, but they keep saying that it does. Like I said, STUPID!

I even thought if I closed that account, they'd send me the money. Nope, when I went to close the account, I got a warning message that I had money in my account and if I closed it I was agreeing to forfeit the money! I don't think so.

I use E-Junkie for my products now and I love it! Unfortunately, it doesn't support subscription payments, so I have to set that up separately thru PayPal, but at least when someone buys something, I get paid!

I also use TradeBit for listing PLR/RR/MRR products for sale and that's going great as well.

It will be a cold day in ___ before I list another product for sale on ClickBank!

          JME...YMMV,
          Tamara

Tamara, my daughter is having the same problem getting her money from Clickbank. She has monthly income coming in from a membership site and it bugs her no end that she can't get the money out. I can sympathize because as a shopper, I always use paypal to pay by charge card so I'm not giving my information all over the web. It's been very difficult for her to find enough buyers who don't use paypal at all.

Doesn't seem legal that they can keep your money. Will they release the funds when it gets to a certain balance?

I agree, Carol, it doesn't seem legal! But like many websites, when you sign up for an account you're agreeing to their terms.

The thing is, their "rules" state that if you close your account and have less than $10 in it, you agree to forfeit the money. Well, I have a whole lot more than $10 in there and when I went to close the account it said I had to forfeit the money in my account. There's no way I'm doing that.

I have managed to move all my members over from ClickBank to making straight PayPal payments. I offered them a discount for their trouble (no affiliates were harmed due to the move).

The only thing I know to do is use that ClickBank ID to make some affiliate sales and hope at least 5 people buy using a credit card. At least, that's my plan.

Best of luck to your daughter!

              Tamara

I also once had a CB product denied.

I was very polite, and said that I was surprised - as I had put a lot of care into making a good product - and asked them nicely if there was anything I could change to get the product accepted.

They gave specifics, (these were actually quite surprising), I made the changes, product was approved.

Someone mentioned lack of support on Paydotcom.com - I can't comment on that as haven't used them but I have just signed up with Click2sell.eu and their support is nothing short of EXCELLENT - instantaneous in fact.

Not sure how the program stacks up against others as it's early days but I like good service.

As a full-time Clickbank vendor, I can help you out. I have had several products rejected, but I've always managed to get them approved.

This is what you need to do, You need to contact them, and ask them why they denied it, fix everything they don't like, and resubmit.

BTW, after they deny you, they should have a reason of the denial stated in their e-mail, telling you what you need to fix to get approved.

Can you tell us what the product is about? They're pretty lenient when accepting products, so they're not very quick to deny one.

    Some basic clickbank vendor pointers:

-Make sure you have your contact info on the bottom of the sales page.
-Make sure you have your contact info on the thank you page.
-Put the following on the top of the thank you page: "Your credit card or bank statement will show a charge from Clk*bank"

I like e-junkie for delivery process but clickbank for the selling ease/affiliate system. They are pretty reasonable and helpful so more than likely you just need to do a little more leg work to figure out what you did wrong. Most of the time it is contact info or needing to verify product information better.

You can get around the issue by simply coming up with a product and buying it from yourself or using a few friends that you can pay back. It ends up being a few bucks in fees, but it takes care of the problem. After you hit that quota (IFRC) it doesn't matter. I had a friend do this and it worked out fine.

I like clickbank but I hate the CDR policy..

It's a big problem for beginners specially now that most people purchase via paypal..

I think this policy with the 5 different credit cards should be abolished..

Why not just set a higher cash out..At least there will still be a way to get the money out..

Maybe that policy is designed to be biased?

Also I think CB eats up on your account after 60 or 90 days of inactivity. I'm not sure..

    Best wishes..
