It would vary from niche to niche, but I don't think there will be a number you can find online unless you are deducing information your self. Things like, number of patients in a year a plastic surgeon might have + Number of average visits per patient per year + Average cost of surgery + average cost of doctor visits etc.

Well Kurt I spent awhile trying different google searches without any luck.

Lots of articles on how to calculate LTV, but not examples by industry. I even checked for infographics.

Looks like those who put together such data want to keep it private. Which makes sense. I mean, it has to be different for each field, and each firm. Every company has its own costs and margins.

I tried phrases combining LTV with benchmarking, standards, industry norms and so on, plus specific industries suggested by google. Same results kept popping up.

This was the best thing I was able to find (Bain, of course, being one of the big consulting firms):
Customer loyalty in P&C insurance: US edition 2014 - Bain & Company

Another item with some actual data in it was

Once in a while I will come across a figure like "according to The Divorce Lawyer Association", but I haven't been able to find any type of compilation of customer/client value for multiple professions.

I've also checked some of the Adwords "highest paying keywords" lists for info. It's probably a fairly good indicator of relative customer value without giving a specific number. But there's a lot of clutter to wade through with this info, such as multiple keyword phrase and geographical locations for the same profession.

It would just be nice to be able to cite a qualified source to use in sales related communications. But, as you said, this is probably pretty valuable info, if anyone does have it.

Kurt, here's something I found about lifetime medical costs (hint - it's a bunch). The data is from 2004 but it may give you an idea on the medical front and be a starting point to find newer data.

It's easy to create one site and earn from it with adsense, but you need see how to find your keywords with low competition and little of SEO
