My site's been out there bout 3 days now and all I earned in adsense is 0.10$ what do I do?

I kinda feel stuck, 10 cents in three days, somehow I feel pathetic. Sigh!

it's nice that Big Mike told the story bout his customer. Somehow it picked up my spirit, it made me laugh.

Anyway, any advice?

Three days isn't really long enough to get any substantial traffic. You're going to have to be more specific about how you're promoting the site if you want any help.

Oh and this'll get moved to the adsense section soon...

        It's only been 3 days?

No matter what you read on the Internet, there is no such thing as instant money. It takes persistence and consistent effort. So, keep driving traffic ... keep improving your site ... keep working on your business (Yes! You must treat it as a business, not as a quick buck generator).

I've never had a business -- ever -- that made me a single cent in the first few days. Most of my businesses cost me hundreds (some thousands) before I ever saw a return. Now, in the Age Of Internet, we are lucky that we don't have to invest thousands in our businesses, nor wait a few years before we are in the black.

But ... it still takes some time before you start raking it in.

You are lucky to make that amount of money in three days ;-)

Keep adding content and getting traffic to your site. It takes a while to see consistent results. For one of my sites, it took about 6 months to achieve that. It's almost autopilot now. Add little things at one time and things will add up pretty soon.

Quick question here why the hell are you people fighting
this adsense thing when there are more profitable ways
to make money online and better ways to spend your
    time.

lets say you put in 10 hours into this adsense thing
and you only made $0.10, now if you take that same
10 hours and did a couple interviews or write an ebook
or something then sell it as a WSo shit you will make tons
    more money.

For adsense to work you need traffic and good traffic
coming to your adsense sites for this to work.

      Oh how true!

Words of wisdom, old friend. As you know, my favourite way of making money online. Adsense just bores me.

        Hey Kevin,

I could never really understand this fascination
with adsense, if you have a forum like the warrior
forum then adsense is perfect or any other high
volume site then it is worth spending time doing it.

But as always the bloody people peddling the adsens
crap keep preaching that everyone can make tons
of cash are the only ones making anything really.

Now I'm not saying all adsense stuff is bad just that
most of the things selling don't really help customers
        just the vendor...

Adding to what Mike said. As well as mounting up the $$$ over time it also mounts up the number of pages of content you have (as long as you're doing it right).

The more pages you have indexed the easier your future SEO efforts are.

        Hi David,

Do you really want all those adsense addicts jumping ship and trying your business model?

        Leave them be

People like it because it's utterly passive income. But until something happens that makes them realise that they need more control, they will carry on. (Not including people who use it alongside other systems - just the people who rely on it).

The same concept applies to many other internet systems - EG - affiliate marketing. It only takes a new version of IE to come out with a new 'privacy' setting that is turned on by default and if you're relying on those cookies, you're gonna look like this

I'm not getting at anyone, just trying to help because while I've been learning these lessons (the hard way) I've been looking like this on a regular basis.

        I need more of this

I agree with others. 3 days is not log enough to earn much through adsense.

Remember this word always when it pertains to this business - Patience.
I remember when I made my first .25cents online after my site was up and running for about a week - I admit I was not doing much traffic building but the few links I posted generated this amount.

I was so excited about my first 25 cents as you should be about your first 10 cents in the business.

    This is what I recommend.....

SEO - SEO -SEO - optimize your page to the best of your ability, if you are not aware of how to do this, I suggest you pick up an e-book by Brad Callen thats is called SEO MADE EASY and this will give you all of the basic steps to optimize your pages...I admit when I first started this book really helped me alot and I am sure it will do the same for you - if you do it right the first time, although it may take some time it will be worth while.
