Quick question about affiliate marketing

I got an online translation agency, is it much harder to find affiliates to sell our services then finding affiliates for selling e-books and other relative digital products?
From my perspective affiliates should be more interested in dealing with something like we offer, since they payouts are higher and finding a new client could mean the affiliate keeps getting commission from all the sales as long as the same client keeps using our services, whereas i do not think a person would be same e-book twice.
Am i not understanding something? Why is it more difficult to find affiliates for something like services rather then digital product?

A digital product has a one time cost. you can then resell it or have an affiliate resell it hundreds of times.
Because it costs nothing extra to sell 1000 than it does 10. they can afford to have the affiliate sell the product at 50-75% of the price and still make nice income.
To sell a service, this requires labour time and can't be resold. so there is little interest in this.

In a way i understand, in our case, our service could cost anywhere from 50 USD to 30 000 USD, that is for one time, same client is usually a returning client, don't have to do any work after the initial contact, but keep getting paid for it as long as the client gives us projects.
So in a way, i see bigger money to be made in services, not necessarry ours, but services in general.

How will the affiliate know that the client he referred has re-ordered? Will you have a system to track that? Or he will just have to trust you?

The better question is do you have stats that your service is converting? What's the Earnings per click/client/lead etc...

Give me stats on your service, the target audience, the payouts and give me a reason why I should promote your service...

As an affiliate, I'll ask those questions if I don't know who you are and what your service is.

Yep, could pull out the stats easy, since there is only few people doing it locally, the amounts aren't as high as they could be, obviously each month is different, but since my friend is doing it, i know how much he puts into it, for the last 3 months, no work put in, but i still pay him, since the clients keep coming back.
As for earning per click, well clicks are really not all the important if they do not convert, as per client, it is different in each case, clients are different, an individual could spent 50 euros getting one project done, where as a company could have their website, manuals, conversations and etc. translated which could up to a large amounts, such as 100 000 USD or well over, i mean this there are around 336 billions Euro spent on translation globlaly each year, quite a lot of money to be made there.
For an large translation agency, i came to find out that affiliate makes well over 200 000 USD per year, she does not have to put any work anymore, she referred clients to this agency and they pay her for as long as the referred clients keep ordering projects.

Well since there is someone doing it locally for us, we have set up email id for them with our domain, he has total control over it, we do sign a contract, so all the future request comes come to the email that the affiliate is using.
