Automated CL Posters. Thoughts?

Had an engaging conversation with a guy who developed his own Automated CL poster. Seems like he knows what he's talking about, but I'm still skeptical to use his service.
Does anyone else have any experience with automation for posting via CL?

    All I know is that it's not allowed:

    "USE. You agree not to use or provide software (except for general purpose web browsers and email clients, or software expressly licensed by us) or services that interact or interoperate with CL, e.g. for downloading, uploading, posting, flagging, emailing, search, or mobile use. Robots, spiders, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, etc. are prohibited, as are misleading, unsolicited, unlawful, and/or spam postings/email."

    I would say the days of effectively gaming CL are long since past.



    These days, they have a fulltime staff of employees eagerly banning (or ghosting) those who abuse their terms of service.

    In my opinion, using software for the purpose of automating posts is a violation of their terms, so it seems like this is a method that would NOT be scalable.

    Just my $.02, don't intend on raining on your parade, or the product vendor who introduced this idea to you.

      Hey thanks for the advice. I dunno he said he can get 100 ads up no problem. Also scales easily cause there's some bot involved. I have no idea.
      Anyways he offered a trial. I can't see any loss here... since he offered to put up 20 ads and if they go live then I pay. Can you see any way he may be trying to scam me? Sorta new so I really don't want this to be a terrible experience.

      Connect using less automation, much smaller investment!

      That way, craigslist and others will like you and treat you much better...

      Join onto Diego Hernando's email list to get discounts for various different products. Diego, worked together with Big Mike originally both members here on the warrior forum. Reasonably priced software applications, now running the show on his own...

      No affiliate link here, direct connect to all the products! Good guy to have a chat with through email etc., if you have any further questions etc...

      Yeah maybe you're right. Though I think he's pretty involved because it's his 5th year doing it. I finally managed to have the courage and try out the trial and got 50 ads up! I guess I'll keep paying him until CL catches up? Just wanted to thank everyone on here for their advice.

    I have uses a company that has automated my CL postings for the past 4 months (about 120 ads a month.) I haven't had a problem. If I do, I will go back to my old manual way of doing it.

    Don't use one. Even if someone you know is using it and having success with it.... i'm advising YOU to not do it.
