your opinion on StableHost VPS?

I need your opinion on StableHost VPS, this will be my first VPS, changing from namecheap shared hosting.

I read that I should't choose any hosting company under EIG, that thing I know.

I also need a managed VPS, as I have no experience in servers. I need Cpanel.

So what is your experience with them? Do you recommend any other VPS hosting?

Thank you

Stablehost is a good option for VPS. But I would suggest you to use VPS hosting from liquidweb and softlayer. They both provide managed VPS with excellent customer support.

StableHost is a reputable company however, keep in mind their VPS's are "OpenVZ" - it's not fully virtualization & you share the kernel with the host node. You'd be better off looking into a host that uses KVM and offers proactive management.

Hi, before buying any VPS, you should think once about Knownhost. the best managed VPS. their customer support is awesome (instant reply or sometimes within 2-5 mnts) with no downtime. I'm sure, you'd not regret after getting thier VPS.

FYI to all of you... There is a forum dedicated to these questions here: Internet Marketing Product Reviews & Ratings

Next time maybe you could help out by directing clueless posters to the right forum....

Then perhaps WF should have a forum specific to hosting related questions.

I saw that forum, but since I had a question regarding the hosting company and I wanted advices, and was not a rating or review post, I consider I choose right.

          I beg to differ Madam...
You asked for Opinion, but that's neither here nor there...
Advice/Opinion correlates directly with a person's rating or review of a product or service. Same thing really ...

You'd be better off going outside of Warrior Forum anymore... Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet - WF isn't what is was a few years ago anymore.

It seems it's more important to argue about posting in the correct forum than it is to answer the OP's question. Of course, the forum that you apparently should have posted in specifically says: "to give intelligent reviews of products and services"

          You either get:

          1. Responses that are completely unrelated to the question
          2. Spammers posting random spam "companies" (IE post #2)

          ///

Back to the OP's questions - can you give any information about the site(s) you're looking to host & what problems you're facing?

I will launch soon my first digital product and since shared hosting is not proper for such a site ( i am expecting lots of visitors) I though I'd try VPS hosting, mainly for this site, but also for my other affiliate sites. I tried Hostgator until last year when I couldn't stand it anymore, then namecheap until now, but I receive almost daily alert messages on my email that my sites are down, with 508 erros. When i managed to catch them, there were indeed 508 errors.

StableHost has been the best host I've ever had. I don't have a VPS however.
