Let's talk CURRENT comparisons: Clickbank vs. JVZoo

Hello all,

Could everybody please chime in on their thoughts of which one is better: Clickbank VS JVZoo

Please take into account the current state of both networks, from both a Vendor standpoint, as well as an Affiliate standpoint.

Sure, this topic has been discussed in the past, but I'm looking for CURRENT reasons to pick one site over the other. Not reasons that existed 1+ years ago.

So... have at it! Clickbank or JVZoo? Which do I pick as a vendor and why? Which do I pick as an affiliate and why?

    As an affiliate, the biggest advantage is that you can get instant payments.

    As a vendor, there is no upfront fee to list your product(s) and I think the fee for each sale is smaller too.

    JV seems to be dominating the marketplaces these days. The low cost up front entry fee with higher price products as follow ups and add ons.

    I see a lot of good products on JVZOO and I guess I do on clickbank.

    Being a vendor I think you would want to versions of your products lead page and run test on both networks. Key with clickbank is the more sales your site on clickbank generates the higher up in their search pages you will appear out of the huge database of products. Basically just uploade and get your product set and then start marketing your clicbank link and get yourself some sales. Keep track of all of this as well and you can use it in your affiliate resource page and help your affiliates out. Also by showing some good EPC's you'll get more established affiliates promoting for you!

    I've used Clickbank for about a decade, but these days, I don't use them at all. A few days ago I decided to put one of my existing products (highly successful) on Clickbank with a secondary website. I'm probably going to test out JVZoo on a third website, which all sell the same product. This way affiliates can promote them independantly.

    I've used Clickbank for about a decade, but these days, I don't use them at all.

    for im jvzoo is definetely better with its larger affiliate database and more offerings for both vendors and affiliates I think.

    For vendors, there is not fixed price to add your products, Clickbank has. (only for your first product)
    Commission rate is 7.5% on Clickbank vs 5% on jvzoo.

    If you know how to sell, and sell well.... then it dont matter if you use Clickbank or JVzoo. It's all about message to market match. I like to call it "phone pole marketing". A product is a product.

    Besides the header on the Clickbank affiliate pages.... what will be the difference between selling a business opportunity product there, versus one on JVzoo. Isn't the overall message all the same?

      I agree with half of your message, "If you know how to sell, and sell well.... then it dont matter if you use Clickbank or JVzoo."

      But I must also say (can be wrong), if success affiliates fail to sell a product that means product need to modified or shouldn't be sold.

      Affiliate should sell two type of products:
      1. Either it's hot selling product
      2. Or it has potential to dominate market if promoted with good strategy.

    I have worked with both of them and like JVzoo to an extent but i will prefer Clickbank ,because of the reputation they have and i find it easier to find affiliates there .I am still earning from Clcikbank .

    I agree JVZoo is quite popular in IM market but most of affiliates you found are newbies and they need instant money .

    JV Zoo is great, but they are bizopp/internet marketing heavy on products and affiliates.

    Not much weight loss offers in there for example. And even less affiliates for weight loss.

    But really - replace "weight loss" with any non-im niche.

    I could be wrong, but that's what I've found in my limited research.

    Almost all of the top non-im niche offers I promote and that get promoted heavily are in clickbank, cpa networks, private platforms like infusionsoft - and none that I've come across that have large (or any) affiliate promotion are in JV Zoo.

    Maybe that will change with all of this nonsense going on.

    Add WarriorPlus to the list: It allows you to easily organize your sales funnels with zero problems / bugs (the visual funnel is great and it works fantastic even if you have 2 Upsells, 2 Downsells etc - JVZoo it's a mess), it integrates perfectly with Aweber and other AR's (impossible with JVZoo) and the list goes on.

    Comment: Lot of people say that you can get more sales through JVZoo. It's false.

    Look at their marketplace and you'll see 100's of new launches with zero sales. Sales depend on how organize your launch (JV partners and so on).

    --> One thing that i don't like from WarriorPlus (and that makes LOTS of affiliates stay away from W+): They don't let affiliates know if they have been approved with Instant Commissions or not.

    I've sent this suggestion 2 or 3 times and never got a reply about it. Hope that some day they could fix this.

      Many products on JV Zoo are Master Resell Rights or PLR products listed there by vendors so that potential affiliates can find them in the marketplace and sell them. There's no actual product launch involved with these normally.

    This is of great interest to me as well - previously I used Paydot for affiliates but it seems to be very slow now, so I am looking to switch to another company - this thread looks good to me to provide some insite.

    Does clickbank still get a lot of affiliates and offer subscription based programs? I really would like to use the warrior forum for it in fact more than JVZOO but looks like JVZOO is moving along better...
