From Which Countries Do Many Of Your Customers Come From?

Conventional wisdom tells us that we should target people from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia and other Western countries because they're the ones who have the extra money to spend. But is this really true? I know a lot of Warrior Forum members are quite successful and generate boatloads of sales on a daily basis from people all across the world. From which countries do many of your customers come from?

I don't think it just comes down to money. We target these countries mainly because they speak English. I have customers from outside of what are referred to as T1 being USA, UK, Canada, Australia but they are much less and they are English speaking..

That's a good point. But many people in India and Pakistan speak English and targeting those people would be a lot cheaper.

Conventional wisdom is correct, and of course it's true. Why do you think these countries are the targeted market of almost all marketers and product pitches.

It may be cheaper but as they have no where near the amount of disposable income as western countries then it's simply not viable to target them, and your conversion rates would certainly confirm this. That is unless you have something VERY specific to those countries.

If you haven't yet fathomed this simple fact of where the money is in IM, it's going to be a long and very hard road ahead for you.

US and Canda Customers convert a lot and it may be particular for my niche... I am not sure what is your niche though...

USA, Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, ... but South Africa is quite good too.
I target India as well, but less success with them.

I had thousands of online customers in the past few years and by rank (The Big Four) - 1. UK (obviously), 2. US, 3. Australia, 4. EU Countries, 5. Rest of the world in virtually all continents except Antarctica :-)

I've been marketing online for eight years across a wide variety of niches. In all that time and thousands of sales I have had one outside T1.

That was a $4.95 seven day trial which was refunded six days later.

I get orders from India and other Asian countries. However, the vast majority of my clients come from the USA and the UK.
