My website traffic is dropped suddenly and drastically

One of my client website traffic is down and its decreasing everyday.
Please help me with all possible reasons?
I am updating site with fresh content, removing/redirecting 404 error pages and yes updating robots.txt page which contains

Disallow: /wp-admin/
Disallow: /wp-includes/

what else can I do to recover?

Thanks,
Kirti

That's just vague mate. Where does the traffic come from? Google? Perhaps the site has lost a lot of rankings?

Is any paid advertising involved? If not there should be. Lots of it. Don't rely on free traffic alone as your bread and butter... especially your client's bread and butter.

That is to be expected cause google traffic fluctuates sometime you have more sometimes less. But are your content keyword optimized?

-I would start by checking what pages are indexed. Maybe you promoted some in the wrong neighborhoods and were de-indexed... (worst case scenario)
-then I would see what keywords were bringing traffic and see what happened with the competition meantime that pushed the pages out of view (this is if you have a lot of google traffic)

can't say more without having a look

google found more informative website than yours so it downs your rankings so you need to add more and more quality content so that google can keep you at top.

If you have no fault about your sites you promote your service on social media sites to reach your traffic.

I think u need to remove low quailty content from site like, tags etc and modified pages which drop ranking, don't create any single backlink for drop ranking pages. Internal linking very helpful
