Amazon Hits Yet More Incredible Growth

Amazon produced a whopping 10.4% growth over the first half of 2014.

It is now well on pace to do over $100 billion in revenue. $100 billion.

it will be the only ecommerce company to have ever hit this gigantic milestone.

This pace is of growth is huge for a company the size of Amazon and highlights the undeniable trend that's driving Amazon's fantastic expansion -- people want to buy everything from one place.

Amazon's gigantic growth is also happening outside the USA.

UK up 10%. Germany up 14%. Japan up 9%

It's an incredibly exciting time to be an ecommerce entrepreneur, especially if you utilise the amazon platform.

I remember for the longest while back in the day, people came down on Bezos because they couldn't get out of the Red. Always making revenue but couldn't get an actual profit.

        Good to see it, now

Swing trading the stock made me lots of money

                Thanks mate.

I've spent months analysing every category on amazon and all the products, chosen my first product and ordered samples, analysed all the bad reviews from existing products doing well, and decided on a perfect sample with one really awesome differentiating factor.

I know they say not to do that, but I can't help it, whenever I do something I have to go at it 100% or not at all haha.. Can't have any stones left unturned or it will drive me mad..

Yeah if you know of any masterminds with room for a person let me know. I've studied think and grow rich so I know how important a good mastermind is.

I actually have one question you might be able to help with me if you don't mind? I know they say in ASM to pick a product that's less than 2 pounds because of the shipping costs, but it's only weighed if I ship by air.. So am I right in not worrying about my product being more than that if I just ship by sea? Because as far as I'm aware, shipping by sea is cost per volume, not weight. So it shouldn't affect me?

Thanks, and I wish you well with all your endeavors too mate

Still, lots of people say that Amazon is not a good place to do business for some reasons (they don't take action and are not making money ANYWHERE. Often they have over 2000 posts and it seems like they have experience but they don't).

Amazon is the place to be right now. It's so easy to sell on amazon right now it's crazy.....Oh, and they bring the TRAFFIC FOR YOU. No need for SEO , a website and all that stuff...

Easiest and fastest way to make money online and i'm STILL waiting for someone to show me an easier method.

That might be. But the key is that one needs to be able to source products that are in demand, and do so cheaply. I have read about people who make £20k sales a month but the profits are only a fraction of that. You need to seek out products that have very reasonable margins. But the good thing these days is that Amazon takes care of all the hassle so you only need to seek out the products. It's a totally different ball game if you were responsible for the sourcing, storing, shipping.

Sourcing products overseas at jaw-dropping profit margins is easy, and I have taught hundreds how to do it while only ordering small quantities at first.

Forget the myth that you have to place huge orders to buy direct from the factories overseas. Those big MOQs are only there to sort out the wannabees from the serious importers.

Amazon affiliate program just wasn't worth it for me. High conversion rate despite the 24 hour cookie. But the commissions were pathetic. Replaced it with Adsense. Adsense clicks are worth quite a bit in this niche generally.

Selling stuff directly is a completely different matter I'd imagine. A huge marketplace, and if you can source quality products at low average price and place a reasonable mark up you could potentially build a sizeable business for yourself. But certainly, the affiliate program isn't worth it. The 24 hour cookie (even though conversion rates are actually still better than most merchants offering lifetime cookie) and the extremely low commission rate just kills it. People don't mind spending $10 right away if they see value, but spending $50 then generally they'll need more than 24 hours. Even though I did get one customer whose spend was $70, the majority ordered items totalling $20 or less.

      I'm not surprised.

Amazon affiliate will not get you a substantial business unless you are freakishly lucky.

We're not talking about amazon affiliate we're talking about amazon selling our own physical products.

      Good luck with your venture.
