Infographic conversion page

I'm struggling to make good, visual conversion pages for my affiliate products, so I thought about instead of making a text and image page about the product, to create an infographic.

I think it would be great visually but I don't know if it would work for the purpose of converting. Probably the main problem would be that it would load slower than text and it would not convert for mobile users.

Has anyone here tried this? What do you guys think?

You can have infographics that convert with mobile.

I read infographics a lot on my iphone. You can use Canva.com as a free way to make some basic infographics and give it a shot.

I would recommend split testing with and without the infographic.

One of the big benefits of infographics though is that they're fun and if people enjoy the subject, they are far more likely to share with an infographic.

I think a recent study said it increased shares by 13-14% or something along those lines.

Canva is not free. At least not practically. Any decent graphic is going to cost you at least $1.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Infographics have worked pretty well for me. Put the graphic on your web site and then "pin" it on Pinterest. It's a bit of a crap shoot because some graphics work well, while others do not. You can't predict in advance which will work. I've created about a dozen infographics using Canva and Piktochart and posted them on Pinterest, only a couple have generated traffic to my web site.

But in my case I'm not trying to generate only traffic, but sales. I'm wondering if infograhics would work well to sell products, with no other page to help it.
