What type of advertising would be best?

I will have the ability soon to pay for some help in promoting my ministry Bible Studies For A Solid Faith - On The Line Ministries and was wondering what areas you believe may be best to build traffic? In other words would you suggest facebook ads, google ads, blog comments, or something else?

Just wondering what type of services would be best.

Blog comments are nice because they're free.

But honestly, religion is a passion subject for people so I would suggest spending your money in building a facebook presence.

You'll likely get more bang out of your buck since people are prone to share things they're passionate about - and religion is definitely something people share on facebook all the time.

    Might help you grow quicker.

Plus you can setup custom audiences targeting just your likes, retargeting for people who visit your site and you can market to the email list using fb ads.

    Lots of ability to scale.

If you got a lot of time and not a lot of money, I would suggest blog commenting, forum posting, guest posts on other blogs and video marketing along with your own blog.

Some of that you can outsource fairly easily like blog commenting and forum posting.

    Biggest thing is... TRACK EVERYTHING.

So you know what's working and what's not.

Thanks, I am going to be short on both time and money lol, but shorter on time it seems. I am curious about how you would explain custom audience targeting. I am not sure how that is done.

In fact, I am not very strong in the area of tracking and analyzing. My ability is strictly in content. Is there some type of service that can track and analyze for you and let you know how to improve?

Short answer: FB Ads > FB Page > Newsletter.

    - Use FB Ads to grow your FB Page.
    - Collect Followers with your Newsletter.
    - Use Articles to Grow FB & Newsletter.

Concentrate on the above for now and then expand to other forms of marketing; especially other socials and also video platforms (like YT).

        Content marketing.

Syndicate relevant content to key locations where your target audience hang out, and upgrade readers to followers and subscribers, whilst still promoting (either directly or indirectly) affiliate offers. You can, for instance, grow subscribers by syndicating content to Facebook. Similarly, you can grow a Facebook following by syndicating content to other networks.

Since there are a LOT of Christian blogs out there, I'd start with FREE CONTENT MARKETING.

    Do guest blogging.

Pitch your ideas and fine tune it with the editors.

It's all about delivering solid value to THEIR READERS not pimping them with keyword saturated worthless 'blog posts'

    There is a BIG difference.

Provide VALUE to others and you'll always come out ahead in the end.

Seek to serve yourself first and you'll be STARVING for a long time.

I would do alot of Youtube marketing. This is how underground pastors get a platform, and then get their own TV segment on Sundays to televise to their local audience. I know of one guy personally where this is the truth. This guy was even on "The Lexi Show". And only started on Youtube.

This is eventually one area I would like to move into. I am curious as to if you know how he monetizes youtube and the local tv spot so that he can keep affording it? I assume he isn't paying out of his own pocket (not that there is anything wrong with that but I think he would last longer with outside support).

definitely ppc with the major search engines, everybody is on facebook so yea for sure. Creating and testing some banners then putting them on major networks.

Knowing your target demographics and where your audience is hanging out online.

Check your competition and see where they are getting their traffic from.

Well, for promoting your ministry and to build more traffic, you need to perform all SEO tactics.
And If you want me to specify any one best option, then i will suggest blog commenting. It’s free and more effective than other options.
Plus, you must also work on building On page seo and keyword research tactics.
