Hidden gems in the forums

Hi all,

I see a lot of people commenting on posts, stating to use the search feature and that they should be looking for threads rather than create a new one.

It is hard though to find those gems, often what you are searching for, is not actually what you need.

Can anyone recommend any posts that really inspired them and would be helpful to others.

Or mention any points that were the eureka/ breakthrough monument for you?

    Just kidding... on a serious note, it's difficult to quantify threads or posts as useful, as everyone on this forum are at very different places in their IM-Life.

    Being new here, I don't have a go-to list. I was 'successful' at IM before I ever heard of this forum. So most of my nuggets I take from here are worlds apart from what you are looking for.

      A good approach, which I will try to apply to my website.

    I my honest opinion, the search function isn't that great. I often find myself looking at the results wondering how in the world any of the these relate to what I searched for. Maybe i'm using it wrong, but usually, especially the older threads, popular threads are harder for me to find...anyone else?

    This is what you do:

    1. Spend a day reading WF.
    2. Familiarize yourself with who appears to be laying down great posts.
    3. Jot down the names.
    4. Where possible, jot down what appears to be their expertise in brackets next to them.
    5. Follow their posts.
    6. Visit their profile on WF, click on Statistics, open up in 2 tabs their past posts and their past threads.
    7. Grab a coffee.
    8. Perhaps a doughnut.
    9. Dig in.
    10. To the doughnut and the information.

    Tell you what - it beats wasting your money on most WSOs.

      If the forum search function isn't getting you what you want, use your favorite search engine. After your query, add
      Code:
      site:www.warriorforum.com
      and you will get only results from the forum.

      If you want to search a subforum, use its URI instead of the top level one. For example, if you did want to search the Email Marketing subforum, you'd add
      Code:
      site:www.warriorforum.com/email-marketing/
      to your search query.
