Am I infringing on epinions.com???

I have the domain empinionreviews.com and i was going to build a large review site but i realized there is a site called epinions.com Should i just trash the domain and find something else?

    Personally, I would use another name. If you build up a huge site, promote the hell out of it and get name recognition, it would be a shame to get a "Cease and Desist" letter from epinion's lawyers.

    Many years ago, I bought a domain name that had "ebay" in it. Then I found out that eBay was pretty aggressive about stopping people who use their name in their sites so I sold it off.

      I had a site with the same name as another company but a .biz domain. Build a business for a year on it and got a email from the .com owner. After 3 months lost it and it was painful and not worth it. I even proved I was not in competition with them as I offered a different service.

      Yours is like in direct copying of the name and the exact same product. I wont even park that domain but will delete it. As you want to end you domain in the words "review" I am sure you can come up with a new fresh unique name that you will benefit from much more.
