yeah, it's still profitable. a lot of the products that come out in the niche are geared towards women, though. the niche could use more products for men.

I think you're in good shape. There aren't many relationship blogs targeted towards the male audience. Make sure you hop on social media and start connecting with your audience. With your niche, its easy to share snippets of advice and really hook the reader and bring them back to your site.

Yes it is. People are starting relationships and ending relationships everyday. But the niche is not the problem. The real question you should be asking is, "how can I become a better marketer so that I can sell anything to starving niches?"

Affiliate marketers give people what they want. And many people want a relationship but don`t have the skills or time to start one.

    Men marrying men?

That might be a good place to start as heterosexual marriage will soon be outlawed.

No it's dead. People are starting to care less and less about making babies and care less and less about being in relationships.

We do not live for that stuff anymore. There are more important things in Life

That's a very broad topic filled with a lot of established competition.

I would suggest you drill down deep and create a niche in some corner of the market where you have verified online buying demand.

People care about specifics these days . . . their own specific issues, problems, and desires. You need to find out what those specifics are and address those needs.

No one is going to care about generalities because they can find those things online very easily.

    Good luck to you,

    Steve

Both the relationship and dating markets (not niches) are alive and well. And many of the niches underneath their umbrella can also be very profitable.

Most people who enter these markets don't make squat because they don't know how to survey their potential customers, they don't know how to get traffic, they don't how to convert that traffic, and they don't understand branding and positioning.

As long as there are people who need advice on how to GET a relationship, how to MAINTAIN a relationship, etc. there's always money to be made in that market. The same things goes with the dating market.

I know one super affiliate who wrote an excellent book on relationships and then he signed up as an affiliate to well over a dozen other programs. He buys traffic, builds a list, built a relationship with his list, and now markets his ebook and those dozen or so programs and he makes a nice six figure income.

It took over a grand to get started and it took him about 2 years to get to that six figure mark.

It can be done, you just have to know what you're doing.

    Hi jfrombk.

I think relationship niche is still alive. Coz if you go to Clickbank marketplace and search for relationship info products, you'll find some products with high gravity. That definitely indicates that these products are selling good.

    Thanks

People still engage in relationships so it's pretty much alive. Try to focus on a problem solution. Since this niche is very problematic for people.

Making a great authority site seems a good way to go for it. Dating sites in the other hand I think most of them are a scam with 95% just men around there.

It's alive indeed. I have a 1 year niche dating blog with 20 articles which give me a constant income eventhough I haven't posted a single article for the last 6 months. The secret is simple, target local market and a very specific vertical like asian dating in LA, gay dating in China etc. You will be able to getfast and stable ranking. This is my personal exprience!

To put things in perspective: the online dating industry alone (which is just one portion of the online relationships industry) generates $2.2 billion per year in the U.S.

Commonly expected growth rates are projected for $100 million a year, and I happen to believe true rates will be much higher, given the intense interest by governments and corporations (Facebook, for one) to get more people online.

High street retail is dying (and has been for years), mobile telephony is rapidly on the increase worldwide, and technology is increasingly offering new ways and improved ways to connect to the internet (widespread usage of eReaders, connected games consoles, popular games that either require connection or offer desirable DLCs, competitive pricing of smart phones, telecommuters, etc).

We are, in effect, a world that is connected.

Now when you couple that with the fact that humans are social animals, where the norm is for us all to seek out relationships of some form or another, you have an industry that not only will never dry up, but one represented by a perpetual pool of consumers, which at present has massive growth before it even begins to approach a plateau.

Can you tap into the money? To be honest, you're a bit late to the show, assuming you haven't already joined us. This is a decidedly advanced online industry and competition is rife and cut-throat.

Gone are the days when you could get in easy and make a killing. Back then, you could have made life-changing sums of money by merely soaking up traffic from Yahoo Groups.

What I'll say is this: If you're smart, hard-working, creative, willing to actually think and implement and not just buy some crapolla WSO and expect to receive a Push-Button system, and if you have some cash, you can get in on the ground floor and you have a chance of some real money.

I don't believe any online market is off-limits. I was actually only talking about competition in another thread. But certain markets are harder than others, of course. Relationships (or, to specify, online dating) would be one of those markets.

It's a great niche. ESPECIALLY if you're very knowledgeable on the subject of relationships (I.E. you can attract the type of person you want).

I started off learning from David DeAngelo (Eban Pagan) because I wanted to learn how to get good with women. And it worked!

I've been promoting other people's products and make videos online - giving free content.

The next step is for me to create a program. I do pretty well with affiliate marketing because I am unlike most of the marketers out there who post crap content or content they merely took from somebody else (some people even copy a sales letter word-for-word).

I suggest looking at the top guys or ladies in the dating niche you're interested in.

It's probably not profitable if you try to approach it like the 'umpteen thousand" other marketers. . But if you can identify an untapped problem, solution or improve on an already identified one, you could give yourself a chance to profit.

Unless you have incredible marketing muscle, money and manpower .. you'll have to think like a guerrilla niche marketer fighting behind enemy lines. That's the attitude you must have or you'll get buried.

Definitely YES, people are hitting google to solve their various problems from simple house DIY, technical matters, relationships, money, business and how to improve their lives. Many couples nowadays need to work long hours to make ends meet and this usually the cause of troubles in a relationship and many more. Relationship niche is evergreen.
