Normally, how old does a student graduated from college and started his or her first job, let us say, as a programmer? (Just trying to understand more about my target market)

I'd suggest that you find a forum on the topic, and ask there. You'll probably find that answer and a lot more. With that said, if people graduate on time (after four years), they'd be around 22. Most people graduate high school when they are 18. As for how long it takes to get a job in a particular field, that's a very individual thing. It can depend on the economy, in what part of the country in which you live, your grade point average in school and whether or not you got any internships, the school you graduate from, and so on.
