Are "Audience Network" Facebook ads worth it?

I've just started a facebook ad campaign and I was trying out a new option called "Audience Network" where facebook promotes your ad in 3rd party mobile apps.

I was getting the almost all my clicks from this option (compared to "Mobile News Feed, Desktop News Feed, and Right Column ). But, when I checked google analytics I found out that the average time people spent on my page was exactly zero seconds. That can't be right!?

But then I thought of something. I thought that maybe people accidentally clicked on my ad and visited my website and left immediately because they weren't interested in the first place. I usually do this for mobile apps.

So what I'm asking is, "Has anyone had much success from Audience Network Facebook ads and are they worth it??

Be very wary of the Facebook ads.

Tons of "clicks" but the bounce rate is
through the roof. What you're seeing is
    not a fluke.

This does not mean there is no value, there
is value for the right ad / product combination
and there is no value for certain types of products.

For example, consumer products can work very
    well. Something cheap, flashy, etc.

Products like CloudNet360 shopping cart software
do NOT do well on Facebook.

So the question always comes down to whether
a crappy conversion rate at a cheap click price is
acceptable. While we see crazy bounce rates, we
also get clicks much cheaper than our Google clicks
so there is no real black and white answer other than
    --- Test ---

But I hate that "test" answer because it can be used to answer any
question... so I hope my additional detail and examples
    helped you.

Facebook Ads will only loss your money. You will only spend big bucks with low results
