THIS Is Why the Warrior Forum Is THE Best Internet Marketing Forum

Hey Warriors!

I've been a Warrior now for quite some time. Not as long as the OLD timers (you know who you geezers are) but thank God I found it - I wish now I could remember who first told me about it so I could thank them.

We see posts all the time about people who feel screwed by marketers. It happens. But I have found pure gold in this forum in the form of members who give more than they take. Members who truly care about helping others succeed.

I want to give you an example that just happened to me - it's not the first instance - and it won't be the last I'm sure. But it's a shining example of the camaraderie that develops when you actively participate here. (And we've seen the charity threads - a different form of people helping people which is heart-warming as well). This is in a business sense, though. I want to show newbies that no, not every seasoned marketer is out to screw you.

People will help because they like helping people.

Last night I posted a simple thread asking how to implement a search function on my site and better organize it. A few posts helped me and then I opened a PM from MarkH45 - someone I had only interacted with ONCE before via PM when he had a WSO running I thought my list might like. I had asked him if he wanted to let my list have it free since it was so low cost (like $5), to help him build his list, and he ethically declined since his WSO was supposed to be the BEST price out there - and he was right (I wasn't thinking about that when I asked).

So anyway, Mark and I didn't know each other - other than that one PM before. What does he do? He offers to work last night and today and get my site set up FOR me. Free. And show me how to use it once he's done. He even got his graphics guy to help with the new header size, clean up, etc. The site's almost done. He didn't want anything in return.

People this is what it's all about.

It's a random act of kindness.

It's WHY I admonish every one of my subscribers if they don't join here after I tell them to - and then complain about not knowing things or getting screwed by other marketers.

Big thanks to Mark for his massive help with my site - and big thanks to Allen for keeping this joint open.

Tiff

I've experienced a lot of that here, myself. I'm terribly unused to it. My biggest problem in all areas of business has been unreliable people, so I don't expect much of others... but Warriors have gone above and beyond the call of duty time and time again.

And the only thing I can think of to do is try and rise to the occasion myself - helping others, giving advice, donating a little time. Which is probably why this stuff happens so much here.

    Thanks for posting this Tiffany.

The Warrior Forum really amazes me everyday. In a world where it seems that everyone only cares about money - I certainly figured that it would be even worse on a forum centered around making money. As I got to know (and continue to get to know) members - it is almost always not just about the money.

    Hi Tiffany,

Sometimes this forum leaves me speechless. The information thats just given unselfishly....the way everyone bands together when one of us has fallen....

For a long time I layed low, reading, learning on my own... many times I wanted to ask for some help but refused to, instead searching deeper on my own for the answers....For a long time I had the feeling that I never knew enough to contribute....

I've come a long way since then...I think so anyways....I still have a long way to go to get where I'm headed, but at least now I feel like I can offer some assistance...giving back some of what I have taken. I owe the WF so much!!

    Thank you everyone...

      Tiffany,

I've had things like this happen too. Out of nowhere I get a PM about a month ago from someone offering to hook me up with some graphics for free. I asked a question about MRR and got a ebook size response in PM...Stuff that I never really asked for and certainly didn't expect.

When stuff like that happens it definitely kind of renews your sense of goodness in people

Now all we have to do is pay it forward

Well I'm laughing..Just don't post those "edit your CB links" again ok

Warrior Forum is one of a kind, and definitely the best!

I've learned so much about internet marketing here..and all for free..
Not only that, but I actually improved some of my skills because of threads here that openly shares ideas I would not have known through any other means..

Even if you don't post here and just lurk around, the internet marketing spirit here is bound to rub on you. And after a while you'll be doing IM naturally..

sometimes there's just isn't enough words to describe something special, but I think most of us know that already..

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your post made me LOL - for real!

Laughing confused me more. So are you now not a comedian because I laughed, or a comedian because nobody is laughing which is a contradictory statement and, and, and...Ahhhhhh!!!!!! A paradox!

Also, why does comedy have such painfull terms? Gag, punchline, bust a gut, yuck, and in stitches, etc?

          All the best,

    Hi Tiffany,

I absolutely agree with you that this forum is the best one around.

For months I floundered about trying to learn how to set up an internet business. then I came accross WF quite by accident.

The selfless information that is shared on here has enabled me to earn my first internet $. For that I will be eternally grateful.

I ask question after question and there is always someone willing to advise. I'm sure folk see my name and groan whilst thinking "she's here again!" but, without exception, I have been directed to some fantastic resources to find my answers.

The Warrior Forum is the only place to be if you want to feel part of a community rather than just a name on a thread.

Thank you to everyone who has helped show me the way towards my first million online - you know who you are... (I'll let you know when I get there!)

  • I see WF as the #1 place to actually get to know the better side of online marketers today. Unlike a bunch of other webmaster/marketing forums, you don't find the amount of willingness to support other memebers, and the atmosphere here is just different.

Everything is organized, in place, and most of the time, if not always, rule braking is rare (at least, thats how it looks from here), simply because of the crowd surrounding WF and the dedicated admin and mods.

    I'm here to stay

Thanks for starting this thread Tiffany!

In all my Internet marketing life, from the days of Don Lapre, to Corey Rudl's beginnings, I have never felt so at home, as I feel at the warrior forum.

I was actually a member before under a different user name, and I remember reading, and reading nuggets and sometimes "carrats of diamond" of information....right here!!

You will be amazed at how many famous Internet Marketers out there have used the Warrior forum to catapult their business into another stratosphere!!!

The only word that comes to mind when I think about the warrior forum is:

      "TREMENDOUS VALUE"

In this kind of atmosphere, it is only normal that you also think of giving back as much as you can!

So, let's all do an "overkill" on the value we give and leave in here, and equally take massive action on the value that is also given to us!!

I too agree that this is the best IM forum around. I was just telling my wife yesterday (even though she was yawning as I was telling her...lol) that I couldn't believe how much information, tips, strategies, ideas, etc. that are shared so willingly on this forum.

For example, there were two recent threads that has had a huge impact on my business and myself. One was the idea of using Yahoo answers to drum up ideas for a blog post/article. The other was the one titled "Ezinearticles.com Closed Down" (or something like that). That thread really woke me up and made me realize it's time to stop putting all of my eggs in one basket and diversify...ASAP!

Tiff, I can't tell you how many people have offered to do things for me here
and how many just went and did it. A small example is my favicon for my
main sites. A fellow warrior just PM'd me and said, "Here, I hope you like it."

I belong to other forums, but none of them even come close to this one
as far as members doing for other members.

As a matter of fact, it's given me an idea.

Tiffany, Wow. What a great post. Restores faith in humanity !!

I had an experience recently, with a new hosting company. I had gently growled at them because one of my scripts was not working - and 'the guy' not only tested it, to show me I was wrong - it was working (blush) he then suggested that it could be improved.. and then the next day re wrote and uploaded a slicker version for me - I could hardly believe it, totally amazed and so very appreciative of such behavior - and then I realized just how jaded I had become .

Good people do exist and good things do happen and the warrior forum is a very good example of that !

Tiffany - you got that right - the WF is absolutely incredible - the connections/help from others and geez - that is how I found you to ghostwrite for some of my blogs!

Seriously - I know between the regular discussion board and the private one...I wouldn't never have achieved the results over the past 7 months alone!

And saved a bunch of money buying WSO's that have more value than some info products out there that are 30 times the price!!!

    cheers, Maria

Richard - you're right about famous marketers using this forum to catapult their business upward. Both from a selling standpoint like in a WSO AND from a research point. I know for a fact as their ghostwriter they troll the forum to see what products to create.

Harvey - I can't publish Dow Groans - someone will make it perverse I just know it. lol

Steven - I know I've had people just do it and send me stuff. It's shocking no matter how many times it happens. I guess because of the media making us feel like the world is so filled with bad people and then you see the good in them. Glad you got an idea from the thread!

Dr Mani - I joined Oct 2006 - boldly declaring I was becoming an Internet Marketer LOL. I just KNEW everyone would laugh at me and say, "You're just a ghostwriter - get out!" But they didn't.

It's all about karma, what goes around comes around. Like with anything else in life, things work out better with an "abundance" rather than "scarcity" mentality. In other words, there's plenty of success out there to be had by everyone, so help out when you can. You never know, that newbie you help out could become a huge success later on and repay the favor!

    Hi Tiffany.

As you can see I'm a recent convert to WF and I can see straight away how the quality a depth of experience helps IMs of all capabilities.

Although I've only put a modest number of posts on WF, I've spent dozens of hours reading quality material from IMs of all experiences and what I've learned in a few weeks far outweighs what I've learned in the past 12 months from ebooks and other products that I've bought and have either been unhelpful or have sat on my laptop unread.

Thanks to all Warriors for their input and I look forward to the time that I can be the guy offering advice and assistance for no other reason than 'I can'.
