Hi

I have just started creating a list. Initially there was one subscriber who confirmed email(hotmail). But now I can see all my confirmation mails to hotmail are going to junk.

What can be reason?
What can I do to fix this?

What are you using for a "from" address? If you use something like help@yourdomain.com you have a much better chance of getting delivered then if you use a free email like Gmail.

could be just your hotmail account. Need to consider what words are in your subject line and believe it or not but something that I find that helps keep my email in the main is to bold my links.

I don't know maybe its me but it seems to help

There was "FREE" word in confirmation email. I have removed it. But still mails going in junk.

Hotmail is notoriously hard to inbox - especially when using services like Aweber and Getresponse.

My advice is to keep it moving. Don't worry about it as inboxing is hit and miss anyway.

User 1:Message 1 could hit the inbox, message 2 could end up in spam.
User 2:Message 1 could end up in spam, message 2 could hit the inbox.

It's more of a numbers game than anything else. Bigger list, more opens, more clicks, more sales.

Yeah I get your point. But would have better if at least confirmation mail and first welcome mail including free gift can hit the inbox. Any tricks or suggestion that will help me to hit inbox ?

        Hey Pank,
You should have gotten some updates or replies from Aweber telling you that you need to get rid of the 'From Address' using hotmail.

Its plain to see this is the problem

This is just NOT always the case. Quality of List is really important. And if you have a List of 10K developed thru junk Solo Ads then in many cases it will provide less sales from someone who has high quality, high targeted List of 500 people

          Hey Robert

Sorry but I didn't get you. I am new to list building. What do you mean by
get rid of the "'From Address' using hotmail".

I am using my domain email. Subscriber receive 'From Address' as "awlist4014@aweber.com on behalf of *****"

          Thanks

    Hi
Sometimes you get many email going to land in their junk folder,
The best advice until you figure it out is when they optin to your web-form or squeeze page,
use the thank-you page and mention that you have delivered their free gift to their email and if you don't receive it then check your spam just in case by accident it got in their and also to add you on their contact list so this does not happen....
