It's working! How can I scale this?

Hi;

I am testing a few systems, one of them is getting my attention! I was wondering if someone could give me some tips how to make this system better and more profitable!

Here's the rough ~ data:

  • I found some keywords in a questionable traffic source,
  • Sent 1000 clicks to 4 variations of the same vsl,
  • No funnels, straight to vsl,
  • Within past 10 days,
  • Converted just under 2%,
  • Made about $250 profit!

Here is some more data:



Questions:
  • How can I scale? Just increase the daily budget? How much? 10%? 100%?
  • How can i improve conversions? I rotated 10 headlines and they dont seem to make any difference. They all kick ass thank you JC and JB and CH!
  • How can I get the money out of CB so I don't have to pay much tax?
  • Is this the right time to approach affiliates?

    keep reinvesting your profits and most importantly build a list, or the income will surely dry up.. Patientce is key

    Hey dude

    2% is quite good for starters, especially as you are already running at a nice profit so very well done! The fact you made a profit that early means your overall strategy is working. In order to scale up, you need to do more of what it is you have been doing.

    So, same tactic but MORE keywords. Don't use a different type of traffic for now, simply expand on the reach by adding more keywords to get more clicks. Also, try to increase your budget/CPC on your existing keywords in order to get even more traffic for your winning keywords. Also keep your headlines running, then pick your top 3 performing ads and split test them against another 2 to further boost performance.

    That should scale your campaign quite nicely

    Good analytics screen shots you have there, Well if you really want to scale it up without breaking the bank you may want to try all the possible free traffic out there. Free traffic include facebook groups,classified posting, blog commenting,pod casting, document sharing websites and press release sites. You can out outsource all those on freelance sites, cheers!

    Excellent work.

    Increase your spending budget. And like Nicholasb mentioned, you should send that traffic to a squeeze page of some sort to build your list. Your efforts will be a lot more profitable that way.

    Add retargeting if you are not in "bad" niche

    Either Facebook, Google or PerfectAudience.

    Perfect Audience has $100 coupons and does Facebook as well but is very strict with accepting sites in the network.

    I would increase the budget to 10% and since 4 different headlines don't make any difference, keep the best one and change the other 3.

    You know have a 'control' and your next task is to find another headline to beat that control.

    I think you can also start looking for affiliates...its a long process so start looking even before you need one.
