Anyone profiting from "make money" Clickbank products?

8 replies
Hi guys,

For the past few years, I've been focusing on building lists interested in self-help/personal growth.

Now I'm thinking of starting to build a list interested on "making money" or boosting sales/business. Marketers are saying this niche is overcrowded and oversaturated; but I think with some unique strategies, I can still grab a piece of that "make money" pie.

I would like to promote mostly Clickbank products, but my concern is that many people in the "make money" niche might know how to create and use their own Clickbank affiliate link instead of mine.

I'm not saying that all of them knows how to do it, and actually do it. But based on your knowledge or experience, would targeted prospects buy the "make money" Clickbank product using your affiliate link, or is there a big risk they would buy it through theirs?

Thanks a lot,
Michael

    Yup..

    There are easier niches, but it's not impossible to make it with CB products.... One of my MMO lists is solely promoted with CB "make money" products and it is very profitable.

    Although, I do have to take a shower with bleach every time I broadcast to that list

    Peace

        Many IMs will tell you - go where people are making money and out-market them.

        Many other IMs will tell you test and tweak, rinse and repeat.

        Find a niche in the Make Money arena and try out your skills.

    I was at the World Internet Seminar down here in NZ last week and one of the presenters got up and made the point that that in the next 12 months there will be something like 15 million people unemployed in the US. Thats huge.

    So, of course there are going to be lots of people trying to find ways to make money online. The sad thing is that many will loose very valuable life savings / redundnacy payouts from trying to get themselves established online.

    It's a jungle out there - I know as I've been up to my bum in alligators for the past 12 months getting various Internet businesses started.....

    Hence, I think to succeed in the "Make Money Online" niche you must be;

    - Genuine - have something that really does work and will make money for people
    - Committed - to sharing and helping people improve their personal and financial situations
    - Customer Focused - and that might sound like a strange thing to say in an Internet Marketing forum - however IM is like any other business on this planet - it's about adding and returning value - the more "value" you create for others - the more you are worth.... it's somewhat esoteric but I truly believe that you back what you put out, universal law of reciprocation and all that sort of stuff....

    So in summary, yes I believe there is money to be made in the MMO / Clickbank product offering - but do your homework - research the product thoroughly - contact the vendor ask for or buy the product to evaluate and make really sure you are happy to endorse it and then find a way to add further to that product by ;

    - showing an innovative way to use or apply it
    - maybe produce a 101 guide to using product x - if the vendor failed in doing that part well
    - adding some cool bonuses by way of complementary PLR stuff

    Anyways, hope that helps....

    You hear this quite a lot but it completely baffles me. Anyone with a cb affiliate link should know how to search cb and if they are interested in an im product it is simple to look at the whole group. At least for myself there's only about a 1 in 10000000000000 chance of finding something I want while surfing and the doing that little substitute the hoplink thing. Personally I don't pay any attention to this concern, or try to protect myself from it.

    Look at this way Michael, there are thousands of Affiliate Marketers that are using Clickbank but there are millions of people that want to start making money online. Do they all know these kind of thing?
