Can you Review my Landing Page?

I am running a link building service. I currently target my traffic to the main page - backlinkbuild.com where I try to get a quick sale. Now I want to try a different strategy where I give people 1 free link to start - and hopefully build a relationship from there.

Anyway, here is the landing page: http://www.backlinkbuild.com/lpss.gif

I would appreciate any suggestions at all. I am still working on it before I get it coded and live.

Thanks a bunch guys!

MichaelMelen, that looks pretty slick. Nice use of white space. Good call to action (big arrow pointing to action, little arrow pointing to more information). Wow, the more I look at it, the more good things I see. You've got the badges that add credibility sharing the same "award" look and even a micro-portfolio/example of your work. Nice. Well done.

Hey, thanks for the kind words actionplanbiz and watershawl. I have done web design on the side for a while now so I know how to make things aesthetically pleasing. With landing pages you need more than that though so I spent hours researching all I could about landing pages. Thanks again for the compliments.

    Michael,

First impression, Two Thumbs Up. Very nice/professional look, it's got that web 2.0ish feel to it, I like the clean, straight to the point structure.

I assume you are going to add the black mini-nav bar and a few of the other things from your current main site to this new version?

Other than the graphics that are pleasing to the eye, I believe you are on the right track changing your approach to the "Free Trial" business model.

My first thoughts were that only one free link didn't seem attractive enough to give my email addy, (I can go do this myself, register somewhere, someone's blog, or a link directory, and add one single backlink). By only having one free backlink, it doesn't demonstrate your "automated/multiple backlinks" system/offer.

If you said 3 free backlinks, I wouldn't hesitate to signup.

Now, about your main site, (the price of your service specifically)... $295 just struck me as a bit expensive for the average IM'er.

I bet if you priced this sucker at $99, you wouldn't be able to keep up with orders.

    Just my 2bits/bytes...

Hey, thanks for the reviews. Jared Alberghini, I will not be adding the mini-nav bar as I believe that the extra info. will just deter them from the call to action.. I will add the Live Help though. Great idea on the 3 free links though, it will be more work for me but possible better in the end.. something to experiment with.

As far as pricing goes, it takes 1 person 2 days to make these backlinks - it is all manual. If I outsource it, it will be cheaper for me and I can drop the price. But as for as things go now, I really can't drop the price.

alexa_s, thanks for your input as well.
