What is a Hub Site?

I've been playing around with the idea for some time.

Some sort of static welcome page which leads in to the rest of my business. Many people use their blog for this, but I wanted to make the blog just one of the places to access my information.

For me a blog is a restroom - a sort of coffee lounge where people can chill out with no pitching or sales. This is where we build Know - Like - Trust with people. Once these three things are there and people have become our friends first off, they will hopefully trust us enough to seriously look at what we do and maybe even try it out.

So I built this personal sales page all about me, and left links around it to give people access to the rest of my business. I have to say that I get most of my hits there now. I am constantly trying to improve it.

You can take a look at my Hub Site now by going to my profile and clicking the Contact Info tab.. As you will see, it's simply an information page with no sales links or pitches.
