Make money as a Programmer

Hello Everyone!!

I'm really new to internet marketing, I would be really grateful for any help you guys can give me. I'm a web and mobile developer, and I have a few ideas of projects, and I'm currently working on one Android project that is almost finished. I've already set an AdMob Account for monetizing with traffic, but I have really no idea how to get traffic to my app. I'm on a really tight budget, so I can't spend money on paid traffic. I've joined some groups on facebook that's on the niche of the app I'm making, but that's all I can think of doing.

Can someone give me some insights?

Thank you very much!

ps: I have a few gigs on fiverr, and I joined like 15 groups of fiverr marketing to try and get some traffic to my gigs, but I can get at most 50 visits/day promoting my gig once per day in each group. My fear is that the same will happen when I try to promoto my almost complete app.

  • You should create a freebie gift about the topic your app is about and start building a list. Then by the time you are done with your app hopefully you have a decent size list that you can promote it to.

    • Hey!

Thank you for your input. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly do you mean with "building a list"?

      Thanks!
  • Consider making a course and teaching programming?

Coding is a very hot topic these days, and working as a Fiverr slave sucks! (Trust me, I know, lol).

    Wishing you unfathomable success.
  • Why don't you offer your app to cpa networks where they will take care of your promotion? You will pay only when you make money.
  • There's good money to be made in B2B apps - that was my first business. Most programmers are focused on the B2C market.

    • Hmm, that sounds really interesting. How does it work?

But to developed to business, don't you need to first sell it to the companies? Did you first create your app and marketed it or did you first market it and after had some people interested, started developing it?

Do you mean like, creating a web platform where users can self-teach themselves to code? Isn't the market already flooded with this kind of service

Thank you very much for all your input guys! You all gave me a lot to search for and study!
