aweber followup advice/help!

Hi everyone,

I tried to research this but am still unclear and hope some of you can point me in the right direction....

I have currently close to 500 subscribers on aweber and wanted to start doing a followup sequence with aweber...so i just loaded up five messages with 3-4 day intervals...

Here is my question, I would like my current subscribers to get my first followup message #1, and then continue like they were new subscribers on the sequence....i looked but a weber doesn't seem to give me any indication of it sending out a followup immediatley to all of the 500....

Will my current subscribers get the shaft and only recieve broadcast emails?

Yes I believe it is too late for them to be added to a follow up sequence. You now must send them the followup emails you want to make one by one to them through broadcast emails. Email aweber to be sure they are quick to reply.

Of course you can setup a sequence and they'll get it.

Once you've setup all the messages you might just have to go into each record and change their message number form 1001 to 0. That will reset them and start them from the beginning.

Actually you don't any have to do that, if you only have one list just add the follow message to the list of your subscribers and all of your prior subscribers will also receive the follow up message.

For example, if you have your first welcome message go out immediately after a new subscriber sign up for your list, you would just add the next follow message four days after your first welcome message, you can keep adding follow up messages and by default Aweber sends them out ever four days, for example I have a list that receives follow up message for one year after they initially sign up, of course any list member can unsubscribe any time they want.

It took alot of work to setup up all the follow messages intailly, but the list keeps making money and I never have to touch it again, I just to keep builing the list.

Unless they've changed something recently, if you don't have any follow up messages you WILL have to reset the 1001 message number to 0 to make any further messages go out.

Not sure if anything has changed it may have, but I just recently added a long series of follow messages to a list that is a few months old and all of the older list members are receiving the new follow up messages- how do i know? I subscribed to my own list, when I fist created the list.

Yeah if you already have at least 1 message in there then everyone on the list will be at message 1. Then when you add message 2 they'll get it.

But if you don't have ANY messages in there they'll be on message 1001 and won't get any new messages until you reset it.
