Clearly lots of changes... What about the WSO section?

Hey guys it's Marc. I haven't been here in a long time but I popped back in recently.

Things are a lot different here than they used to be. That quickly became obvious to me.

So I did some homework about the problems here now and I feel up to speed on the gist of it.

Quick question though, for those of you who've been active during this time...

I saw some comments around here claiming that the WSO section got “cleaned up”.

Anyway...

What does that mean?

How are things performing over there A.F.L. as opposed to B.F.L. You know, money and sales-wise?

I wasn't here for this transition.

Just looking for facts and experience from a civil standpoint. No need to go crazy or anything like that.

Thanks
Marc

IMO not much has changed except the traffic has dropped significantly and is a much higher percentage of non-T1.

That sounds like a big deal to me. I mean if the traffic is lower and of a lower quality wouldn't that have all sorts of consequences for current and potential vendors?

By 'cleaned up' they mean things such as no income claims allowed. However, it's not clear whether this means stating an income potential or if it means an income guarantee. For instance, there's a WSO there now on page 1 which says in the thread title 'make $1000 a day'. No use of the word 'guarantee', but it says an exact income figure to lure people.

But why cry over spilled milk? Like all things: there are ups and downs.

If anyone has any entrepreneurial zeal, they would be here prepping for the next boon - a concept hidden to most of the uninformed (not just noobies).

Interesting the WSO does not meet ANY of the qualifications to be a WSO - so clearly no approvals are being done.

What is being sold is a membership/affiliate type/sort-of mlm program (the money is in selling more "memberships") - paying to join "his team"....

I've been around for a long time, and just recently started using the forum again.

I just launched my first WSO, although it's a classified instead of a true WSO.

So there were some changes that I didn't anticipate.

Well it is a forum. Forums and discussion boards shouldn't by nature aren't supposed to be meant for selling. Lots of newbies these days, and alot of the old time vets have left. There is still a TON to be learned on this forum. Pick a topic... i guarantee you'll be able to find that someone has asked about it before, and a team of helpful warriors have given some of their best advice.

      Where did the vets go?

What were they getting from this forum and are they getting it from where they are now?

The "vets" of WarriorForum past are get rich quick scammers. The former owner and mods of this forum gave them special protections. They had to leave literally the day after this forum was sold. It was like.... POOF... they are gone. Just like that.

Facebook is appealing to them because they can easily ban "troublemakers" like me now that they can't rely on Warrior mods to guard them. I don't even bother taking my WarriorForum shtick there. I know it would last all of two seconds.

Absolutely, Randall. I went through the hype for 4 pages of WSO's and ended up using forum Search. Best damned learn-it tool in town.

I'm laughing - but then I realize there may be people looking at the "money list" dubdot posted...and seriously trying to decide whether they "will work" one hour or 6 hrs per day...or maybe two hours would be enough....

I caught that WSO seller posting an image of a fake Clickbank earnings screenshot not long ago. It was the worst faked screenshot I had ever seen. He made so many mistakes it was laughable. I emailed WF support showing them the image and they told me they had "given him a warning" and they removed the image.

Now in my opinion that's not good enough. If someone is caught faking earnings they should be banned. Allowing them to post more WSO's is just ridiculous.

Facebook is appealing to them because
..they can talk to each other - compare notes and new ideas - without the b**ching and moaning and tough guy talk that has become common here?

...they don't have to prove anything to each other and don't feel a need to be 'best' or 'biggest' or 'richest' or whatever

...they don't have to deal with trolls or people who only want to pick and poke and cause disruption

It's sort of like real life - when people constantly attack you and criticize and complain to you when you go to a certain place...you find a new place to go.

It definitely isn't the same as it used to be. Yeah the WSO section got cleaned up but the traffic dropped significantly to the point where it's not even worth putting up a listing on there. The last WSO I tried putting up got next to no views to it, when a year or two ago it would of KILLED it.
