Then you just meet your big competitors.
Say hello to Google, Facebook and Youtube, etc.

Yup. Every big time advertiser is now your competition. Bing, Google, Gemini, Facebook, YouTube, Warrior Forum, PPC Sites, PPV sites....

If your ideal advertiser can promote on them, they are your competition. It's your job now to convince an advertiser that there is more ROI on your platform than the one they are currently on.

I can also guarantee you that they won't give a %#&! About anything you listed above.

Well if you put it that way, then I see no problem.
They love advertising on my network.

Great ROI, fantastic targeting and super support
      They pay CPM and CPC

Now that I put that aside, let's go back to my original question shall we?

Your competitors aren't really Google, Bing, etc.

They're sites like Blogger, Wordpress.com, Wix, etc.

You might have a better feature set, but they've already got market share and major name recognition.

      Yes, I agree with you.

And I have a VERY LONG way to go before I can even have 0.1% of what they have.

I was just wondering are there some players in the market that offer the same, the combination of futures.

Again... Google with Blogger, Facebook with the page and group... pretty much these 2 giants behind almost big players.

And if you already made it with your own, and feel to be fine facing with G & FB until now...
then what are you afraid off?

Forget competition and just make more money.

You're not alone. Keyword your own business and googling it...
There you'll get the numbers of your possible competitors.

If there's no one there... then you know what it means.

Your question is already answered (actually).

It appears to me, the OP doesn't actually care about the answers to his own question. He's looking for the minute details that doesn't even matter.

Can anyone find a cookbook with exactly the same features as mine?

Oh. But I have 587 pages. They don't. Get back to the original question please.

If you're looking for an ego boost, that's fine. You're question has been answered on multiple fronts.

Google and FB offer similar CMS structures and hold the majority market share. As far as monetization goes, all the big time advertisers are your competition.

If you're looking to get into a pissing contest on whether or not your service out does XYZ, and you can't make money to support it, you're not building a business.

If you have advertisers already, great. How do you scale to bigger and better? That's always the question. Eventually you'll need to overcome the small time advertiser issue and be able to compete on larger markets.

I say small time advertisers because the amount of people you have on your CMS most likely is far less than the reach FB has.

That being said, you would be better off acclimating yourself to a niche market, and not try to go after too much. 10 languages? As someone who spends large amounts every month on advertising that alone is a turn off. Focus on a niche CMS solution versus something that would appeal to everyone.

      Example:
Netherland IM CMS Platform, built for Marketers by Marketers
      Vs
      10 Languages Multi-Niche CMS Platform.

You're competing in an area where you should be solidifying a hold on a specific market than what you are currently.

Hope that clears up a few things. You're long term strategy needs to be looked at for sure.

EDIT: using Facebook as an example... They started as a college-only site. They started on a niche basis and then over time opened more and more doors. You had to have a .edu email to even sign up.

Edit #2: you're already doing what I suggested. Saw a post where you mentioned your site. Automotive Website CMS. There ya go!

Most of the online businesses that are profitable pay close attention to their best keywords and keyword phrases. Why? Because it's what allows everyday people, businesses, and organizations to find the things they are looking for online.

Even if you don't rely on the search engines directly for your traffic, keywords are important to your business because they are important to those with which you will do business.

One very simple and straightforward way to find your competitors is to type in your best and most relevant keyword phrases into the search bars of the top search engines and see what results come back to you (SERPs).

Study the businesses that are one the first two pages of the SERPs - those will be the biggest competitors you have . . . maybe not for direct traffic, but they are the players in your space and they provide solutions that will be considered by consumers as alternatives to what you are selling.

Keep track of those top businesses. Run their URLs through SimilarWeb or other such services and you will learn a lot about them.

This, and other "discovery" exercises should be an integral part of your market research before you ever commit to a business topic and model. It's one of the ways you "pick your battles" . . . i.e. it's how you can assess the competition to see if you have a chance to make money in a niche.
