Hey all

Is it possible to run a online business, and purely subcontract any hot leads out to elance/fiverr ( to trusting and decent freelancers of course )

Anyone got any advice on this topic please share :-)

I can see a few pitfalls unless of course you build up really good rapport with a few freelancers?

I wouldn't just rely on outsourcing for getting my leads. Consider it as bonus leads no more than that. And with fiverr I doubt that you will get high quality targeted leads. Those are the ones you want since those convert to real sells.

Don't buy the fantasy. It doesn't work.

If you have ever tried outsourcing your own work, you would realize that freelancers (especially those working for $5) need to be actively managed and frequently replaced.

Better to build your business model on something more sustainable and reliable.

    Hi EnlightenMarketing,

Here's my opinion. Outsource the technical and easy (but time consuming) tasks.

    - Website design/coding
    - Banner/image/ad creation
    - Transcription (youtube videos)
    - etc.

The important stuff like emailing your list and creating quality content, learn how to do that stuff yourself. Even traffic, I know a lot of people in here sell "done for you" traffic, but trust me, it's better to learn one traffic source yourself. Paid or free, learn to master at least one traffic source..

    Hope that helps.
