lol, I helped Jeremy out in a couple of PMs and he thanked me in public.
I was quite surprised, and flattered.

              Hey Karl,

I've always admired your work becos you've been in it longer.
Do you use Photoshop for all your designs?
I want to learn how to design promotional banners, how do i go about it? I mean the free resources are out there, but how do i get them?

Thanks, I'm glad you like it...

I use PhotoShop for most things...

I create banners frame-by-frame and save the frames in order in their own directory...

                i.e.:

                01.jpg
                02.jpg
                03.jpg

Then use imageready to "import folder as frames" or use fireworks to open (as animation) and select all the files - Then all you have to do is alter the timings and export.

The rest is pretty much the same process as creating a minisite...
                Hope this helps.

                Kindest regards,
                Karl.

                  Hey Karl,

Thanks a bunch! I've just copied your short tip into my notepad.

I'm just starting out learning the ropes in flash designing.

                        Karl,

I just thought I'd let you know that someone has hacked your account and replaced your photo with one of someone else.

He's not fixated on a PC screen like you are, he has different coloured hair and he's wearing what looks like a different face.

Just thought I'd mention it, as someone did the same to me with one that looks that something is going on lower down out of sight, and I had already changed it once myself because a friend of mine had noticed that on the previous one I required some kind of ''loosening' medication.

                        HTH

PS I did notice once that Bev called her car 'the mystery machine'. Zoiks!

                              Lol Roger,

The first time I saw him I thought how he looked like Shaggy! It's a remarkable likeness.

                              Oh Peter,

No one can steal your thunder kid! You always seem to have enough to spare.

Okay, who done what with Karl Warren???

Karl, is this picture going to be the standard for you from now on??

Just when you start figureing someone out, someone has to mess with it! :p

                                Not sure yet Mary...

I'm getting used to it... I might vandalise it a bit just for fun.

By all means, please do! At least in the other picture you looked intent on something.

                                  Take care ...

                      Karl,

I noticed you changed your pic in another thread (The thread which will remain un-named LOL), so when I finally surfaced for air and checked out the main forum again... I saw the Official Karl Warren Appreciation thread and thought I would post...

                      I DON'T LIKE IT!

It's a fine picture, mind you... I just related better to the pic that looked like a programmer or whatever working late into the evening or just chained to your computer in a t-shirt all hours of the day.

I'm really hesitant in posting this...

Because... I know Bev's REAL identity!!

            Shall I?

Do you really want to know?

I'd be putting myself at considerable risk...

I know it might be against rule #1 and all that, but I feel I owe it to the forum...

Ok, given events of today I can understand that people will be a bit edgy when it comes to revealing people's true identities.

                But here it is..

Bev Clement is, in fact, none other than...

                Velma from Scooby Doo!

Now I just need to 'out' Shaggy, Freddy, Daphne and of course Scooby

I think there may have been a clue in the 'Dream Car' thread. I'm sure someone posted this:

Was it that mild mannered janitor, Kevin Riley?

Coouulld be! (Oh sorry, wrong 70s cartoon)
