Best monetization methods?

What is in your honest opinion the most profitable monetization method/s and which is the most cost-effective and manage-able for 1 person?


Membership sites? Online Courses? Affiliate marketing? Selling your own products?


I know that it depends on what kind of site you have in the firstplace, just looking for a general opinion on the matter, if that's possible.


Please share your experiences and knowledge. And I apoligize if the question is a Little vague, let me know if you want more info or just fill it all with your own knowledge

    There's your answer. I have yet to see a 'best' method that works for every type of website.

    Why not tell us what kind of website your running instead?

      That's the thing, there is no website yet unfortunately, doing a lot of research right before I start one...


      But, I'm looking at a site that reminds one of a membership site, not a pure blog in other words. A few subjects I've been looking at are:


      - Improving self-esteem and confidence.
      - Internet marketing aimed for beginners, maybe a site purely dedicated to helping people finding the right kind of concept and idea for a website.
      - How to sell: Kind of wide and broad area so will need to narrow down.


      These topics are a little big and broad so any help on narrowing them down are appreciated!
