Posting on craigslist using affiliate links

I want to post on craigslist using affiliate links.
Does anybody know if this is allowed and what kind of trouble I might face doing this?

Thanks for helping me out.

Well, maybe yes. I want to use it to promote our own product and test our affiliate system.
If you see advertising as SPAM, then you are 100% right.

The changes in the Craigslist ad filters have decisively been evolving in the direction of anti-link. It used to be you could "hide" your links in ad images until their algorithm wa stepped up to be able to parse image content earlier this year. The reason for this anti-link policy is that is leads to traffic leakage off of their site which they are understandably against.

Better to use a landing page.. not only will it convert better than direct linking, but also CL is getting stricter when it comes to spam and affiliate links.

Do you honestly think that CL is knowingly going to allow you or people like you to spam their site with affiliate links?
You might get away with spamming your links for a while but someone will flag your ads eventually and then your IP may be banned from using CL...

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I hate spammers on Craigslist, super annoying and ruining the site.

First off don't waste your effort as your ads will be flagged within an hour or two. Secondly, most softwares that bomb craigslist with posts are expensive and only work for a short period of time so unless you can do it yourself expect whatever program you buy to work for a matter of weeks at most.

Lastly, it's just not effective. If I'm looking to buy a motorcycle or car and I come across an ad for a motorcle classified site or car finding site I don't visit it, I continue shopping on craigslist for whatever I want. Craigslist is all about local ecommerce or selling programs or whatever else is not going to work.

That is why I ask it first here. I have no experience with CL and asking it you guys I get great feedback on what to do and what not.

Now the question stays for me, how can I use CL, without getting banned, flagged and blocked? And how to avoid that people hate what I post instead of love what we do?
