    Yes there.

But it is the top 1%.
Then we have 19% who make nice money
And last the 80% who start, fail, stop.

Why, because they don't have what it takes.

While I am confident several affiliate marketers have made a million or more, I think it's more than just through affiliate marketing.

Most product creators promote other peoples products in addition to their own.

They build relationships with other successful marketers, cross-promote, and generally have larger email lists... Like in the MMO niche.

    Sure there's millionaires!!!

Several created informative blogs, podcasts, video subscribers etc... But, I would wager that the majority who have reached "millionaire status" do a lot more than just promote other peoples goods & services... Most are eigher authorities in their niche, have their own product line, service offers, or both in addition to affiliate marketing.

Also, I would also venture they spend money to make money, and have heavily invested in area such as paid advertising, autoresponder services, product creation, outsourcing, customer service, research & development, etc...

The only thing standing between zero dollars and a million dollars is your ability to get there... and that usual requires several failures and a ton of experience, all of which requires some form of investment & effort.

If earning it isn't a viable option, there's always the lottery, American Idol, Shark Tank... Or Bank Robbery... I considered these options too!, lol.

I think Art72 said all we need to know. It takes a long time just to get off the ground and find your feet.

Affiliate marketing is put across as though it's a easy option!! ??

Well I can tell you it's not easy, from my personal experience, setting up websites, building lists to promote to, all takes a considerable amount of time and effort. That is why so many fail. They don't have the persistence to carry things through.

The millionaires in this business would probably have been successful in any business because they have 'what it takes' to succeed. No matter what.

Yes, of course. But here's your bad news.

What someone else has accomplished has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on what you can accomplish. You are not that million dollar marketer and your skills, timing, talents, experience, ambition, resources, drive and ideas are completely different and unique from everyone else.

Start this journey with what you have to offer.

      Agreed.

However it's good to see examples of other people accomplishing what you want to accomplish. (In fact it can be very inspiring/motivating.)

You can make millions, if you launch tons of products and have thousands of super jvs. Then, once your buyers subscribe to your list you can keep selling them again and again. The key to getting rich with IM is JVs.

Could be YES. Could be NO. I really don't know and I want to know it too. No one brings the truth yet, that's the fact. It's easy to search in Google for someone got a million $ in other things, but not easy in affiliate marketing.
I mean... at least... I don't know how to figure this out. How to check the million $ earner as affiliate in clickbank, jvzoo, warriorplus, zaxxa, even wso.
Maybe there is one, but he/she got buried him/herself for safety reason. Who knows?!
    That's what I think.

Very very few people involved in what we would term "Affiliate Marketing" earn more than 1 million per year in my opinion. The vast majority of thre so called gurus are simply faking it. There are people however that do for sure make more than 1 million a year, and that is the owners of big company's that market on the Internet.

There are people that are earning a ton of cash, but it is defnitely not your everyday affiliate marketer like you and me. It is the website and company owners and people super high up the economic food chain.

I know for a fact of at least 12 people here, based on my own research who I would speculate have made more than a million dollars marketing online.

Sadly, I will not name them, as their success. has inspired me to work for a common goal.

Also, many of them started with little to nothing, a few others came into this arena with offline business knowledge & money, and could in essence, make money easier... But nobody gets there without work. Even if they outsource everything, it's still making it work that counts.

If you really want to know who they are, stick around...you'll know as you learn 'what' they offer, teach, and share here.

And, my number is a low number, as I am sure several have cleared $1M and keep it to themselves, and lay low.

Yes, there are some WF members here who earn a million or more from affiliate marketing.

Fact is, I'd say most of them are the owners of products and services that convert well, and which are promoted by an army of productive affiliates

Well if Gary Halbert was able to send direct mail (yeah by postal delivery) and generate $7,300,000 in sales from just one mailing (*according to his letter entitled 'Geek' ) - imagine what having global reach (for pennies) can do for you...

I think many here cannot conceive making a million online, so odds are, they wont.

Also, authors & writers of IM products like Mike Geary's - "Truth About Abs" has sold millions, of which a large portion of those sales were a direct result of affiliate marketing.

I haven't done it (yet) - but I believe 110% it can be done!

One thing to keep in mind is that not all affiliate marketers promote IM/MMO products. There is a huge world outside that niche!!!

I have been promoting CPA offers for 15+ years now, which is still essentially affiliate marketing. I'm driving traffic to an advertisers offer and I get paid a commission for each conversion.

To give you and idea what I'm talking about...

I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead) offers, because there is no credit card required. All a user has to do is fill out a form and I get paid. So typically conversion rates are much higher than offers that require a sale. Basically I generate leads.

I favor offers that have some financial positioning...have a make, get or save money angle to them. This is what has overall worked best for me and they tend to have greater mass appeal(Very large/wide audience), so the potential to generate high volume exists.

There are many decent offers that pay $20-$60 each (some higher depending on the vertical) that perform well on a front-end offer. Offers that pay less and ones that require a sale(but have mass appeal), I promote on the back-even after a campaign is at break-even or is making a profit.

I will take what I do over marketing IM/MMO any day of the week and YES, it is possible to make 7 figures per year doing it.

    Anyway, something to think about!

While I am familiar with CPA (cost per acquisition) offers, I have yet to try these.

Leading to my question, what's the difference between CPA offers & PPL Offers?

Been seeing a lot of PPL threads stating with some knowledge & common sense they pay good!

I'm just guessing here, but the PPL offers are basically the same as CPA offers, right?

I also looked into CPV & PPV (cost per view/pay per view) but don't care much for adware or pop ups, and while many profess to make good money... I f'in hate when a tool bar holds a computer hostage!

CPA is a general term in that it is Cost Per Action, you get paid upon a certain action occurring. PPL is also CPL (cost per lead)...so you are getting paid when the action of a lead is generated.

A lot of CPA offers are CPS (cost per sale), you get paid upon generating a sale, which is what most affiliate marketers are doing.

With PPL/CPL, all I have to do is get someone to fill out a form and I get paid VS having to get someone to pull out their credit card and spend money...generating a sale. Which is harder to do.

What is great about PPL is that the markets I favor, tend to be very large in size(have mass appeal). So the potential to produce high volume exists.

One thing to keep in mind is that no matter what you promote, it doesn't matter unless you can drive quality traffic to it and that's true for PPl as well.

The way that I have been able to produce consistent high volume is that I acquire fresh/targeted data in that I know what the users are interested in and I know that there is a PPL offer that matches their interest. I also generate real-time co-reg that is target to a specific PPL offers.

So all my advertising dollars goes into acquiring assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost VS what most marketer do and spend it on traffic that will most likely result in a one-time click.

The combination of the two...acquiring target data and then monetizing it with PPL offers, truly has the potential to produce huge revenue.

Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, does 6-7 figures. While that is a huge range, much of it comes down to how big one scales and the ability to effectively manage the infrastructure that comes with scaling.

This is what I have been doing for 15+ years and it works!
