WOW! How Did This Guy Do THIS?

Marketers (myself included) have been complaining for years about the inability to adjust the Clickbank order page for optimal conversion.

Today I happen to click on an Adwords ad and land on this order form

https://ssl.clickbank.net/order/orde...7657234&item=1

(I'm NOT an affiliate nor am I associated with this product in any way!!)

Somebody managed to get their website logo right on to the top of the order page. I'm jealous. This is HUGE for conversions (customers don't like it when they appear to be sent to an order page that's unrelated to the sales page).

But it's useless if we don't know how to do it ourselves.

Anyone here know how to crack the code?

Very nice. Conversions will definitely go UP.

    Just "Snagged" it.
  • ok - that's weird. I see it w/ firefox, but not with ie. I too would like to know how he did this...

    • I can't see it with Firefox got 3.0.13 Checked with Google Chrome and it works. Very nicely done. I dont have IE  so cant check
  • Those images are being hosted by clickbank, so it must be something new that we're not privy to yet.
  • I just checked through clickbank and didnt say anything about customizing
    the order page
  • Discovered a post about this page on another forum, dated 23rd July 2009, so this is not "new".

    Inside help for this merchant?
  • It looks like they are split testing it. They probably don't want to roll it out until they are sure that merchants won't kill their conversions with it.
  • Man, we're absolutely murdering this guy's statistics...
  • Wow, dull and boring order page with ie but great with firefox.

Do they have a contact form on the site?? ask them how it's done, you never know they might answer.

    • Firefox is killing it dude :p Seriosly, what the hell is IE problem anyway? Geezz...
    • It's definitely some inside stuff, because the pictures are hosted on clickbank's site. Hopefully if this is outed enough, clickbank will update us on their blog about it.
  • Mike,

You can go to your account settings under "my images" and upload. Here's the instructions from CB:

The tools on this page allow you to upload images to your ClickBank account, which can then be tied to a product and displayed on the order form at the time of purchase. Using images allows clients to create more consistency and clarity between their sale page and the ClickBank order form. More Information...

Note: Once your image is uploaded, it is automatically sent to ClickBank for approval. We will review it within two business days. When your image is approved the status will change from "Approval Requested" to "Approved." Please note that you will only receive an email notification if we find a problem with your image.

    HTH,

    • That's for a normal box or book image/ not for the customized look that this page has.

    • Those images are on clickbank's secure server, so there's no way of putting them there unless clickbank provides you with a way of uploading them there. Right now clickbank allows you to upload a small icon sized picture to your order form, but not a header or footer sized picture like this page has.
  • works fine on IE for me. It looks nice and I think coversions would be better if the prder page matches the design of the home page like that page does

  • Alright, I'm not a master coder. (Not even an amateur!) But I can read a little code...
It's hosted by clickbank, they have their own header, background and footer, they're split testing. (IN clickbank! That's awesome!)
Btw, is the clickbank order page always .net? Yes? I think I might have noticed it before...
Anyways, clickbank keeps improving, and this will most likely make both affiliates and product owners happy =)

    • I believe this design work is Minisite Frog...

You may want to contact them to see how they pulled it off and if they offer this service in one of their packages.

Very nice work on the checkout page...
